Beatrix Potter's as lovely as always. I don't know what it is about her style of writing that just makes you want to read on forever. The simplicity? The rather silly characters? The gorgeous illustrations? (ooh and are those oh so pretty)

Bottom line is, buy a book and read it to your children. They'll thank you when they grow up.
