This book was not very good as a romance. All of the romantic stuff took place in the past and it is about them getting re-aquainted. The book is more about solving some mureder mystery that never really answers all of the questions posed in the book. It also views humans as week or lesser beings. There is also a lot of fighting and wolf pack dynamics.

I wanted to like this book. But I couldn't. It seemed as if the author couldn't make up his/her mind if this was going to be a romance, erotica or a mystery-suspense, and kept changing gears. I was very disappointed.

Excellent debut by a new paranormal author. Highly recommend this quick read -- sexually explicit!
