Amelia's senses drew her into a confrontation with a mad scientist intent on taking over the world. Would Amelia and her backpack full of secret agent tools be sufficient to foil this villain? This is an upper elementary level reading novel. Definitely designed for kids because while I love YA, I thought this was not very entertaining. Amelia, the main character, wants to be a secret agent. In three different stories, she finds people that are trying to take over the world and then she stops them.
This is a good book to recommend to our young readers with high reading levels. It includes three short mysteries, one about robotic animals, one about a music teacher, and yet another about two dastardly bakers with an evil plot. Amelia, a secret agent, and elementary school student, loves a mystery!
