Basically a rip-off of the classic Glenn Rounds book, Stolen Pony. This is the same story with some minor changes. Although more colorful than the Glenn Rounds book, this one is not as memorable.
Great short story! Had this book in my closet for such a long time, glad I read it. :)
This book is interested me in my brother.

I LOVED this book when I was growing up!
A pony and dog are inseparable friends. When they are taken to the vet, they break out of the vet's field and try to go home. They are picked up by a man and have to fight to find their way back home to their owner.

Not exactly "heartwarming," but that's the word that comes the closest. It's like, "Homeward Bound Lite", if that makes any sense. good book, if not particularly long.
