In a town where gossip thrives like the ivy that clings to its mansions, where mysteries lie behind manicured hedges and skeletons hide in every walk-in closet, four perfect-looking girls aren't nearly as perfect as they seem.

Three years ago, Spencer, Aria, Emily, Hanna, and their best friend Alison were the girls at Rosewood Day School. They clicked through the halls

This book beats the first 2 by LOADS! Perfect is, well, perfect! It is so suspenseful and wonderfully written. The characters are SO amazing with well-described thoughts, their own feelings, and their different actions that really allow you to understand what life is like for each girl.

I love the relationship between Lucas and Hanna, with Aria and Sean/Ezra coming in a close second. The relationship with Maya and Emily is nice, too, because they will do anything and face everything ...more

Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Emily and Alison were best friends. Alison was the queen bee, and she knew all of their dirty little secrets. But then one day Alison vanished.

Now, years later, they aren't friends anymore--indeed, they have nothing to do with each other. Until they start receiving text messages and notes from A. Who knows all of their secrets. Things only Alison knew.

Who is A? And what is A going to do with their secrets?

I devoured this in one morn...more

PERFECT starts out with a flashback to a time when Ali was still alive and part of the group. Ali receives a phone call but doesn't share with Spencer, Hanna, Aria, or Emily. But that's kind of how it's always been. Ali was always the leader. Playing the girls off each other and keeping secrets on each of them.

Now, Ali is supposedly dead and the girls have all gone their own way.

Spencer has been nominated for the Golden...more

Hold on to your hats people! Things are getting serious. Like with the previous books in the series, PERFECT picks up the story right where FLAWLESS left off. If you have been disappointed by a book series in the past that dwindled in excitement, be assured that the PRETTY LITTLE LIARS series isn't going to let you down.

The story continues to follow Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily as they attempt to find out who keeps sending them threatening messages and exposi...more

When I picked up this book at my library, I expected it to be about these stuck-up girls, kinda like Gossip Girl and the A-List or whatever. Then I started reading it and I read it within an hour, it was that good. It's set up so well and you'll never be able to even GUESS what's going to happen next. It's not predictable, which is one thing I really like about it. It's weird that someone is stalking them. I've read all four and I myself have had my suspicions on who A could be, but I always end...more

Honestly... this was another one of those books where I had a hard time getting started on it, because they're so bloody dramatic! If my teenager days had been THIS insane, I don't know how I would have survived it, to be honest... This is the third book in the Pretty Little Liars series, and still, the four girls are haunted by their past. Someone, named A, has been threatening to expose all of their secrets, leaving them anonymous notes to manipulate them into doing his/her bidding. All the wh...more

I am IN LOVE with Sara Shepard’s Pretty Little Liars series, and the third book in the series (after Pretty Little Liars and Flawless) is, well, Perfect. And saying that Perfect is pretty perfect isn’t hard.

This a gossipy, juicy, mystery that has had me at the edge of my seat since the very first page. I watched the tv series, before picking up the books. As a fan of the series, I’ve been very happy to see how well they kept pace with the boo...more

Everything is not what it seems in Rosewood,Pennsylvania, at least not for Hanna, Aria, Spencer and, Emily. In Pretty Little Liars, book three, "Perfect" by Sara Shepard, four rosewood girls are still being stalked and tormented by an unknown person who goes by A. This book Mostly focuses on Spencer Hastings, when Spencer gets so stressed out with school, and a party she "needs" to go to she ends up plaigerizing one of her sister, Melissa's, papers. Then she gets nominated...more

In this book, Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily aren’t talking to each other, or as Hanna calls them ex-BFF’s. They have their own lives, and they still have their own problems. The only thing in common with all four of them is that A is still talking to them and threatening them and that they want to figure out who A is. Aria and Hanna’s ex-boyfriend, Sean start dating but then Aria also starts seeing her English teacher Mr. Fitz again. But then, like always A messes up their lives. A sends a pic...more

This book so far out of the three i read, is the BEST BOOK. it is full of drama, action and suspense. in this book, a lot of exciting things happen. starting with spencer hastings, she stole her sister's boyfriends from the pasts, and now her essay that she wrote when she was spencer's age. when spencer turns in this plagirized essay to her teacher, she is nominated for the golden orchid essay competition which is for the top essay writers only. at the end, spencer's mother tells her that she ha...more

thios book was very enriching to me. I enjoyed it very much. there are a series of television shows that are based off of the books. From what i have already read of the series I honestly think that the books are better than the shows althought they are both very enjoyable. In this book all four main characters Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer are being stalked by the infamous A. A is a unknown person who knows all of the girls secrets who only their deceased friend Alison DiLaurentis wouldv'e kn...more

Just when the readers thought Sara Shepard’s series of Pretty Little Liars couldn’t get any better. Sara Shepard showed up again to prove the reader wrong. Perfect is a well written book based on today’s lives of teenage girls. Showing the reader that even in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, the teenage girls have twisted lives and suspenseful lies. When Aria screams out, “Oh my God!” and Emily reveals, “She’s not breathing.” these quotes leave the reader in suspense wanting to know if one of the girls...more

After breezing through the previous 2 books in this series I was eager to start the next volume. I ended up finishing it in one night, just like I did with the other two. The books are just that good.

This volume finds all of the girls starting to really feel the negative effects of their actions as well as feeling the true wrath of the mysterious A. Aria's getting kicked out of her house, but luckily her new boyfriend Shaun is there to pick up the pieces. With love like that there's...more

Perfect by Sara Shepard was awesome. Just when I thought her Pretty Little Liars series couldn't get any better, she proved me wrong. It was definitely the best book in the series so far. It had all the intruige, romance, secrets (yes, lots of secrets) that readers have come to expect. There was much more suspense this time though, more character development, and one amazing shocker of an ending.

Perfect picks up a month after Flawless left off. Our four favorite little liars are liv...more

Remember that best friend you told all your deepest and darkest secrets to? The one you pinky swore to take it to the grave? But what if she was ready to expose all those dirty little secrets? You thought she was your best friend, right? Well guess again. In the book Perfect by Sara Shepard four girls Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna learn that you can’t always trust everyone. That everything isn’t really perfect. While reading Perfect many...more

Well, the good news what that I was able to break the Harry Potter Syndrome long enough to finish reading this book. The bad news was that I finished the book.

So this book was more of a bridging book that is meant to help along the story and give all those little details that otherwise would bog down one of the truly fantabulous books in the series. Or so I though. Sure, the majority of the book is like that; you get what you expect. But then there are the last few chapters. All I ca...more

Sara Shepard’s, Perfect is about four girls, Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, living in Rosewood, Pennsylvania continue to be the victims of A. Emily begins to have a relationship with her new neighbor, Maya, which is greatly looked down upon by her family. Aria is found out about seeing her English teacher and must deal with her father moving in with his mistress. Spencer is considered a disgrace by her family and does everything she can to recover from the damage of dating her sister’s boyfrien...more

This book has a lot of twists and turns and really leaves you guessing at the end.
Emily's parents are mad and embarrassed that she is gay and wants Emily to go to Tree Tops, a place where they try to make people not to be gay. I really feel bad for Emily because she needs supposed during this difficult time in her life, and the only way her parents will let this pass is if Emily goes to stay with her Aunt and Uncle. So in the end of the book Emily is going there.

I picked this book because I've decided to read the entire "Pretty Little Liars" series and so fair they have been pretty good. Some things that I liked about this book were that everything in the last book that was unresolved got resolved and yet, at the same time new problems and struggles were popping up all over the place. Some things that I didn't like about this particular book were that some things from the last book that I was curious to know about were just dropped, they weren...more

Oh the drama keeps continuing in Rosewood. Ali is dead, Aria’s secret is out and the rest are all about to find out their secrets will be leaked soon. A is getting a little more deceitful but A is also getting a little sloppy. Hanna finally figures out who A is, but before she has a chance to tell her friends, tragedy strikes.

Now, when the other secrets come out, major drama occurs. Hanna loses popularity, Emily is sent away and Spencer, well the first secret A knew about isn’t out, ...more

Aria can't take her eyes off her ex, Hanna is so close to losing her one and only BFF, that she can almost taste it, Emily is going balistic ever since Maya kissed her, and Spencer still can't resist her sister's boyfriend. A is back once again. After thinking Toby did it, it turns out to be wrong. They think A has gone away, but they are back! At first it seems as if A is trying to help them and tell them things about other people that is pretty much top secret, but then blows it up in their faces. But the question is... could it be someone who is rather close to that person? Or, USED to be...

I can connect this to any murder, because usually the murderer is someone who is pretty close to someone and kn...more

“Aria: I went to Hollis. Because I was looking for...you know. Her. She was teaching an art class, so I ran inside, grabbed a paintbrush, and painted a scarlet A across her chest. You know, like that woman in The Scarlet Letter? It was awesome. She didn't know what hit her. And then I said, 'Now everyone will know what you've done'.
