Birthday Vicious is about a group of friends who are really popular. They are all named Ashley except for Lauren. She has been accepted into the group but she is still trying to fit in. The Ashley's have nicknames, Ashley, Lili, and A.A. Ashley is hosting a birthday party. But she has many different problems. The other Ashleys are having boy problems.

So this book starts out with Ashley being a spoiled brat, Lili being obsessed with her boyfriend, A.A. and her love/hate relationship, and Lauren still two-timing two guys.
I was most interested in reading the parts that didn't involve Lili, though, because I was rather annoyed with her. She does portray the typical twelve year old who thinks life can not go on without her crush, but that was the only thing her perspective was about the entire time. Then I realized she was supposed to ...more

It is kinda hard searching for this book but I got it while on vacation anyways.
Ashley Spencer is planning her birthday party & she wants it to be super fabulous. But her mom might not agree. The other Ashleys weren't any help. Lauren's too busy with her two boyfriends, Christian & Alex. Same goes to Lili & A.A.
Lauren's friend from the past came into the picture & boy! how she miss hanging out with the Ashleys! But she can't let Sadie to feel left out & do a makeover for her...more

This book is the third in the series. It's siimilar to the Clique series(a group of popular girls and a wannabe). In this group, all the girls are named Ashley. The wannabe-one-time loser, Lauren, desperetly wants "IN". In this book, Ashley Spencer, Queen Bee, wants her birthday to be a super one-in-a-lifetime momment that everybody WON'T forget. Ever. So she host a Sweet thirteen , B-day party.

Okay, I really don't think I'm going to read this one. It looks like Gossip Girl for tweens. The main character is planning her Super-Sweet Thirteen (yes, thirteen) on page 1. The quotes that preface the story are from Cher of "Clueless," and 50 Cent. If I thought that was tongue-in-cheek, it could be REALLY funny...but I think it's serious. Anyone read any of The Ashleys? Could be good for fans of the Clique series.
I read this series a while ago so I don't remember what happened in which book exactly but I liked it.
I stopped reading at about the third book because I had other series I read coming out, and this book is a little more juvenile but entertaining.
If you like the Clique Series you will like this. I would totally recommend.

When Ashley has her super sweet thirteenth birthday will it become a little get-together if Ashley can't convince her mom to keep with circus theme? Sadie has come back but does she like the new Lauren? Lauren is having trouble keeping her boyfriends seperate while Lili is super worried about the secret camping trip. Or A.A., Can she not handle Tri being so rude.
This was so entertaining. A 13 year old is throwing a party worth more than my family's life savings. Kind of sickening, to be honest.
I laughed at the part where Ashley freaks out because she's 12 and hasn't been kissed yet. Like, calm down :P

This book was a good book. I felt that Melissa De La Cruz's other books in the series were more stronger than this particular book but overall it is an interesting.
It was an exceptional book that portrays the life of 3 rich girls named Ashley and one named Lauren. The take chances and overcome breaks.

Recommended for middle school. Girls who like the Clique series will love this series about a group of seventh-grade girls in an exclusive private school. The three most popular are all named Ashley, and they rule the school, along with a wannabe named Lauren. Money, brand names and popularity are all-important. In this volume, Ashley Spencer is planning to spare no expense for her thirteenth birthday party and boyfriend misunderstandings abound.
Ok book. Not as good as Jealous? or The Ashleys.
The third of the Clique knockoff series, The Ashleys. As I get farther and farther into these books, I actually think they're way better then the Clique. In this installment, Ashley, the Queen Bee, fights to keep her place at the top.
This WAS a good book, emphasize was, because when I was in the middle of it, it disappeared from my living room, so I never got to finish it. . .
