Author Palm devotes over 500 pages to the pop supergroup, taking us from their Swedish ancestry through their 90's resurgence (culminating with the smash Broadway show Mama Mia). The narrative begins tediously, two hundred pages in and Abba still hasn't taken form. Still, by the end I knew more about Abba than I thought I would ever want to.
