I really tried to get into it. But when one finds oneself speed reading the sample, that's a bad sign. I kept trying to press on because I thought it was a great premise. But after a few pages I realised I have better things to do with my time.
The plot moved you along. The writing had some good moments, but it would also bog down. I would probably give it 2.5 stars.
