I didn't read the whole thing, because there were just parts that weren't applicable to me. It was a really good overview of trauma and how to help your child deal with things that have happened to them. I would highly recommend to anyone dealing with a child that has had a traumatic past.

This is a really good book but I could not read all of it. It is too hard to read emotionally right. I will hopefully pick it up on the future.

still reading this one, but i lent it to a friend so i'm waiting for it to be returned to complete it. It is amazing if you work with kids or have troubled kids of your own, or even have childhood trauma to sort out and move on from... this book was written primarily by my teacher and mentor, Maggie Kline and she is just amazing! An MFT and Child Development Specialist, and long time Somatic Experiencing training teacher, she is a wealth of information!

If I could, I would give this book 10 stars. Why, you ask?
Like most of Levine's work, Trauma Through a Child's Eyes is clearly written, well-structured, and well-organized. Moreover, the practical material is easy to follow and usable; I'll definitely implement many of the authors' suggestions.
