The Onts have hired a hit man called the Jackal (a real jackal, of course) to kill Wally. The Jackal failed once, but he has a seemingly fail-proof plan - he will trick Wally into wrestling a giant octopus. Wally's twin sister Cheyenne has her own set of problems - she has been hypnotized by the Onts and is being forced to teach etiquette lessons to a class of mutant ...more

Wally is still annoying the plans of the Giant Onts to enslave mankind and destroy life on earth as we know it. Their hired assassin, the Jackal was not very successful in book 5, but he hasn't given up. He's back with a diabolical plan to end Wally's life. Meanwhile, the Onts still have Cheyenne under hypnosis.

A good book for the series. Nothing you expect to happen ever does, and yet the end result is always a fun adventure.
