Not my favorite writing style. Too many short sentences which start with pronouns and use repeat words on the same page—sometimes the same paragraph. Nonetheless, the plot was good, but it wasn’t developed dramatically. The significant events were told in a sentence or two and not shown. Most of the rest was everyday events with no drama. I’ve heard her speak and she’s very interesting so this must be the result of being an early work.

This was a book that had two thrillers ~ The Target & The Edge~
These are two of Catherine Coulter's first novels. I really liked The Target, but was tired of the cookie cutter writing in The Edge. I hadn't read her in a few years, but now have my fill for a few more.

Read in one day. Not as gripping as I thought it would have been, not as much as a love story as I thought either. Good quick read though.

I have read this book countless times and I have to say that I am never disappointed. I thoroughly enjoy this series. The way that Savich and Sherlock are together is the best part of the book. Their working relationship and marriage are terrific! I love them together!

Very formulaic. The second part, The Edge, is pretty ridiculous.
