Great read! Strong but tortured warriors, spunky and determined human mates, crackling personal chemistry and lots of page-turning action - quintessential Alyssa Day.
The latest entry in the Warriors of Poseidon series resolves the cliff hanger ending of Atlantis Awakening where the half-breed warrior Justice volunteered to become the prisoner of the evil vampire goddess Anubisa. Between tormented captivity and the breaking of his gaes Justice's mind has shattered, allowing the non-human portion...more

Oh, wow. I loved this one! It was definitely the best in the series so far.
5 STARS. -----------
With this installment the plot is definitely developing into something bigger much better than what it was in the first 2 books. I loved than now everything will be about finding the seven rocks. Also I loved that we got to see much more about other warriors. It was like in this installment we got to know them better and see that every one of them have a different personality. I really enjoy this series so far, and I was eager to read Justice story, since the incredible ending of Atlantis Awakening (Warrior of Poseidon #2). I devoured this book! I was amazed by the extreme opposite of personalities and characters that are bring together in this story!
At first, we learned more about Justice, his trip with Anubisa and why he landed into the Void. We can really appreciate the total destruction of Justice's mind and ''almost'' is soul. He's the kind of super sexy, hot and...more

With the ending of Atlantis Awakening I don’t think there was one reader out there, loving this series and who didn’t scream for Justice’s story. I count my blessing in that regard that I didn’t read Atlantis Awakening upon release but only just this month, with Atlantis Unleashed already on my shelves. With reading the final pages I can say that Justice left its mark all over Atlantis Unleashed and took me on his journey of the heart and soul. For all of you who have been on edge for the contin...more
Adventure, romance, mythology, sea gods, vampires, the lost city of Atlantis, South American jungles and the possible destruction of human kind hang in the balance – it’s a roller coaster ride of action. Atlantis Unleashed, Alyssa Day’s newest installment in her Warriors of Poseidon series has it all. Combine an alpha hero who has suffered imprisonment in the Netherworld with an intelligent, endearing heroine and you have a recipe for one of those ’sit back in your favorite chair reads’.

I'm so conflicted about how I feel about Atlantis Unleashed. I mean, it took me a really long time to read--almost a week, which is a long time for me, even when I have an extra busy schedule or other obligations. Somehow though, it didn't fail the fifty page test. The book had plot holes you could drive a truck through, but I kept reading. The book had characters I didn't really care about, but I kept reading. The characters had back stories that bored me, but I kept reading. I can't explain an...more
“Atlantis Unleashed” is the third book in Alyssa Day’s Warriors of the Poseidon series. At the end of Atlantis Awakening, Justice, after keeping the truth of his birth a secret all his life, offered his life or his soul to Anubisa to save his brother, Ven & Erin, as well Conlan & Riley, and their unborn child. “Atlantis Unleshed” is Justice’s story.

With a cliffhanger ending to Book Two, Atlantis Awakening, Book 3 was sure to pack a punch quickly, and it does!
Justice has just revealed himself to be the half brother of the Atlantean royalty - Conlan and Ven - and he sacrifices himself to the Goddess Annubisa for the sake of his brother Ven and Ven's mate Erin. While in the clutches of the evil vampire goddess, Justice is tortured beyond reason. When Annubisa realizes that she will never break him, she traps him in the Void. The one thing tha...more

Keely and Justice must search for the Star of Artemis...more

This is definately the best book in the series so far. It continues on the bigger story of overcoming the vampire threat on humanity and finding out how to raise Atlantis, and also continues the more personal story of Lord Justice, who last we saw was being taken away by the bitch vampire goddess Anubisa for an eternity of torture.
We found out Justice's big bad secret in the previous book, Justice is also a Prince of Atlantis, Conlan and Ven's father's bastard, making him Conlan and Ven...more

Third in the Warriors of Poseidon paranormal romance series revolving around seven warriors in an elite guard surrounding the crown prince of Atlantis. The couple focus is on Lord Justice and Dr. Keely McDermott; their goal is the retrieval of the Star of Artemis.
My Take
I think Day is channeling J.R. Ward but there is a bit of static in the airwaves. It's not fair to compare her warriors against the BDB boys, but it is kind of inevitable. I do adore the BDB so keep in mind that I have this preju...more

This is a fantastic new paranormal series that you're going to love. Dr. Keely McDermott is an archaeologist from Ohio, who has a strange connection to a wooden fish carving, and has a strange gift. Justice is from Atlantis, who's also part Nemeid, who've been sent to the Void for years, and have a splintered mind of two souls. He and his brothers fight vampires who want to rule the world, while he learns the truth on his birth. When Keely is sent to Atlantis, she's on a quest to find another st...more
So there is more going here than just raising Atlantis, apparently. Keely is an Archaeologist with touch empathy, she can see the history of an item just from touching it. This has apparently left her alienated from friends, colleagues, even her parents. Lord Justice is half Nereid, half brother to the princes of Atlantis and the most recent victim of Anubisa. His mind is fractured so much so that he refers to himself in parts. They make a great couple because they seem to have known each other...more
Seriously? Justice is taken prisoner by the mysteriously still alive Vampire Goddess Anubisa at the end of book two only for him to not have one scene with her in his entire book? Weird. The book opens with Justine trapped in the Void - a realm Anubisa cast him into after he was unable to get it up and please her. He battles his way through the void, hanging on to his sanity by his visions of his soul mate Keely - a modern day archeologist with psychic abilities. I thought Justice reasoning with...more
I'll admit it - I'm hooked on Alyssa Day ( http://www.alyssaday.com/ )in general and her Atlanteans, specifically. I was captivated before I finished the first page and stayed up entirely too late on a work night to finish the entire story.

This was my second time reading this book and it only got better. Justice became one of my favorite characters in the Warriors of Poseidon series when he threw himself into Anubisa'a clutches to save Ven and Erin. Now he is redeemed and saved by his own lady love, Keely. The only thing that would've made this book better was more information on Keely's background and family. We're given glimpses to know she had a terrible childhood and doesn't exactly have a loving family, but the reasoning is k...more
In this action packed paranormal/romance adventure, a female archeologist with a special gift of reading objects is thrown together with a troubled half Atlantean/half Nereid warrior of Poseidon, who has been tortured and imprisoned by the evil vampire goddess, Anubisa. They embark on a daring, dangerous quest from St. Louis to the sunken city of Atlantis to a village in Guatemala. Making many surprising discoveries along the way, including that they’re soul mates. This fun read is the fifth boo...more
This book was a good book. I liked the concept and it was different. Although I don't think this was the first book in the series. The only thing that I did not like is that the author did not make it an easy read for a first time reader if the books were to be read out of order. Things were happening that did not have any explanation. I'll read the first one, but this was a good book from a New to me author, and it won't be my last. I also liked that the sex scene did not happen until way over...more
Thank goodness, a book that wasn't terrible. Not to say it was great - it wasn't, but it was readable. I liked the internal struggle that Justice had between the two parts of himself and I really enjoyed that his love interest wasn't a complete waste of a human being. I am really over the "I'm not worthy of you" mind set that every single character, male and female, has in EVERY SINGLE BOOK. Every love story is exactly the same, just different names, places, and (sort of) personalities. I unders...more
In the wee hours of this morning, I finished Atlantis Unleashed (Warriors of Poseidon, #3) by Alyssa Day (★★★★). The series is true PNR featuring a new couple in each book. In the series you discover that the lost city of Atlantis exists, but has been hiding itself from humanity. And a subset of Atlantean warriors have been tasked with saving humanity from vampires (who have recently "come out" in society).

I just finished listening to Alyssa Day's "Atlantis Unleashed", book 3 in her Warriors of Poseidon series. I bought books 1 and 2 of the series back in the day when I read paperbacks. I thought I'd like them more than I actually did. I love reading about oceans, Atlantis and Greek gods but the books seemed awfully wordy without really being interesting. However, I am listening to this book on my MP3 player. The narrator, Joshua Swanson, was simply excellent in Rick Riordan's "The Lost Hero" but...more

So far this is my favorite book in the series. It continues on the bigger story of overcoming the vampire threat on humanity and finding out how to raise Atlantis. This starts with the story of Lord Justice, in the previous book he was taken away by Anubisa for an eternity of torture.
In the previous book we came to find out that Justice's big secret was he is also a Prince of Atlantis which makes him Conlan and Ven's brother. Dr. Keely McDermott is an archaeologist from Ohio, who has a strange...more

A self-sacrificing half Nereid/half Atlantean warrior on the edge of sanity because of his fractured soul, a feisty, pragmatic and independent object-reading archeologist, a pre-destined love match, a quest for a lost gem and plans to wreak havoc on a vampire goddess. These are the ingredients of the newest installment in the WARRIORS OF POSEIDON series!

So I just finished the third book in the series and I must say that I am so hooked on this series. "Atlantis Unleashed" continues the saga of the warriors of Poseidon's never ending fight against the growing darkness of the vampire and shape-shifter threat to humanity.

Atlantis Unleashed by Alyssa Day was well worth the wait. According to the author's website quite a few months back, Alyssa Day was not able to publish her next book in the Warriors of Poseidon series due to illness. Happily, all is now well and the pub date was set for (technically) book 3.

It didn't take long to get back into the world of the Atlantean warriors. Day does a good job of catching up and filling in any back story from the previous books. There is also a glossary in the back of the book. It's fairly short with just the basic terminology but can be helpful, mainly for the definitions of Shape-shifters and vampires.
This is a series that should be read in order. Yes, Day provides back story but the seven warriors are a close group and they all play a role in each others'...more

Finally! After a way too long wait, the Atlanteans are back! "Atlantis Unleashed" continues the story of Poseidon's warriors who have been called to save humanity and bring Atlantis back to the surface. To do this, they must gather the missing jewels from Poseidon's trident or Atlantis will crumble rather than rise and humankind will fall to the bad guys.
