I really enjoy this series so far, and I was eager to read Justice story, since the incredible ending of Atlantis Awakening (Warrior of Poseidon #2). I devoured this book! I was amazed by the extreme opposite of personalities and characters that are bring together in this story!

With reading the final pages I can say that Justice left its mark all over Atlantis Unleashed and took me on his journey of the heart and soul. For all of you who have been on edge for the continuation of this series the time has finally arrived for Justice to step up to the plate and deliver his tale in all its glory.

Justice is a warrior of Poseidon with his distinctive blue hair and sword strapped to his back. He nurtures a defying attitude and inborn arrogance which makes him the embodiment of a warrior who knows his strengths and knows what he can do. I enjoy sinking my teeth in to a hero who is as complex as he is delectable, and Justice fits the bill like a glove. I fell for Justice his Nereid side, a bit provoking and taunting, a bit dark and reeking of undiscovered power. These kind of character traits are my chocolate on any day, but moreover, it brought out his Atlantean side of protectiveness, of honor and of righteousness. Alyssa Day created the kind of page space to convey his story in-depth, allowing Justice to come alive via the pages and this ultimately made the ending so emotionly steeped for me.

Usually in any given story I enjoy the heroine in various degrees but my focus always seems to be drawn towards the hero. Not so with Alyssa Day’s Warriors of Poseidon stories, twice now she dished out a heroine that shined equally as the hero. In Atlantis Unleashed Keely and Justice were no different at the core, they became a one-two punch as they set each other emotionally reeling. With Keely McDermott I got presented to another heroine who is not only fiercely intelligent, she is also gifted and has an independent mind but for the first time I felt my focus shift slightly more towards Justice.

This did not diminish the fact that I reveled in the impact Keely had on the story, or Justice for that matter. She, as an archeologist, receives an opportunity of a lifetime and with her gift she spins the overall plot arc in to new directions. Her passion for history, artifacts and the hunt for discovery is something I could sympathize with and I can’t wait to see what the future of this series has in store for her.

What I think is superbly done by Day is that with the first chapter I got to witness the final events in Atlantis Awakening from Justice’s point of view and immediately sets the tone for Atlantis Unleashed. The author evoked the image of those final moments and thereby refreshing the memory of the readers. From the start there is a different vibe to this tale and it is because Justice bleeds his essence all over this story. He is a darker, grittier and his Nereid and Atlantean side are warring with each other for dominance. Via Keely I got to see some heart breaking moments in Justice’s life and combined with the presence it delivers an in-depth portrayal of a man, shaped by the past and unsure about his future.

The romance of Keely and Justice is gradually increased up to a point where I just wanted to have them go all hot and heavy with each other but the story refrained from such actions. Alyssa Day taught me patience and after many chapters of character and romance development I was rewarded with some hot loving scenes where the background and the situation enhanced it and brought it all together for a delicious release. I gobbled it all up from start to finish, I was so in to their story that the last third of it hurled me in to romantic bliss. Every time I think of that smooth stone my heart cries out and it is a real defining moment in the story.

As the romance and character development took my attention the plot thickens and was wreaking havoc in the background. I was introduced to two new characters of whom I can’t wait to hear more about; the journalist Tiernan Butler and the Poseidon warrior Liam. The plot centers on the Trident and its jewels and I got more information that enticed me as it took me from Atlantis to the cemetery in St. Louis, to the jungles of Guatemala. Plot wise Atlantis Unleashed felt like a story that formed a bridge to something major which will perhaps happen in Atlantis Unmasked. Something is happening and I can’t really pinpoint it in this novel, it is more of a vibe containing certain events than anything else.

The group of secondary characters like Conlan, Ven, Riley, Brennan, Aleric and Quinn all deliver moments where they accelerate the overall plot as well as their own individual story threads. There is a high-risk battle in the end, yet with various things going on at the same time I feel much still needs to be explored. The events partaking at the cemetery of St.Louis especially held my attention and is one of the reasons I can’t wait to read Atlantis Unmasked, the other one is Alexios. In each book Day delves a bit deeper in the individual character development allowing the full cast to thrive in this series. With such an extensive cast of characters there isn’t one that doesn’t appeal to me or doesn’t hold my interest as his or her storyline continues.

In Atlantis Unleashed I found moments of desperate and dark emotions, events of high-octane action, where the romance led up to a battle where it exploded in its entire splendor and where Atlantis readies itself for another chapter. Justice and Keely delivered a riveting read that will rock within the paranormal genre. Way to go for Atlantis and way the go Alyssa Day!

With regards to the series, Alyssa Day has built a world steeped in the myth of the lost world of Atlantis. What I find particularly interesting about her paranormal world is that vampires and werewolves have come out of hiding and now freely interact with humans. Unfortunately many of these creatures seek to take over the human race and rule the world. It is the duty of the seven warriors of Poseidon to protect man kind and have Atlantis rise again. I found that there is a bit of the urban fantasy element in this series. You have the gritty underground rebellion with humans joining forces with the warriors to stop the insidious overthrow of the human race and save it from the vampires. Many of the women in her series are strong and have that take no prisoners attitude that you see in urban fantasy. Her heroes are straight up paranormal alpha males. However she brings you the best of both possible sub-genres because you definitely get an HEA in an Alyssa Day book.

Specifically, Atlantis Unleashed is the story of Lord Justice and Dr. Keely McDermott. Picking up where her previous book Atlantis Awakening left off, Justice, one of the seven warriors, has sold his soul to the Vampire Goddess to protect his brother. He is trapped in the Netherworld for months enduring unimaginable darkness causing a split personality and throughout the book he grapples with his two sides – his Nereid side and his Atlantean side. Let’s just say his Nereid side is all about power and taking what he wants. His Atlantean side is about integrity and justice. It’s up to Dr. Keely McDermott to inspire him to become the man he needs to be.

If you’re a fan of this series you’ll be happy to visit with previously introduced characters as well as experience the continuation of the world building. If you’re new to the series, this is definitely a stand alone book and can be enjoyed in and of itself. Alyssa Day has a smart way with dialogue as well as prose. Her characters are three dimensional, the humor is spot on and the romance is compelling. She blends the ‘old world’ of Atlantis with a modern conversational tone that spoke to the pop culture geek that lurks inside me. I’m looking forward to the next installment Atlantis Unmasked.(less)

I'm so conflicted about how I feel about Atlantis Unleashed. The book had characters I didn't really care about, but I kept reading. The characters had back stories that bored me, but I kept reading. Atlantis Unleashed is the third book in the Warriors of Poseidon series. The series chronicles the adventures and misadventures of the Seven; warriors charged to protect humanity from the less benevolent factions of the supernatural world. Vampires and werewolves are out in the open but would rather make meals than friends of the humans around them.

The first two books in the series were okay, nothing spectacular but not awful either. I find, though, that I'm totally ambivalent about the series after finishing book three; there was lots of bloodshed and drama and violence and all that but really it didn't feel like anything substantial happened, and three hundred pages later, we're still at the same spot in the saga that we were before.

The characters were, to me, completely annoying. Justice has undergone a terrible ordeal at the hands of vampire goddess Anubisa, sure, but the rest of the book is filled with Justice basically talking to himself; apparently having an Atlantean side and a Nereid side means that you get both of their voices squabbling like The Odd Couple inside your cranium. Access to the heroine's magic hoo-hah renders these two halves magically able to get along, an exchange which made me roll my eyes and then progress directly to counting how many pages I had left.

On the flipside, Keely was just...bland. She has this ability to read objects through touch, but seemingly only specific objects. One of my biggest complaints about the book is that she has these horribly debilitating visions that have completely isolated her and pretty much ruined her life to this point but is seemingly unaffected by ordinary objects that are all over the damn place. Can she sleep on hotel room sheets? Borrow a pen? Sit on someone else's couch? Reading and enjoying PNR requires a very healthy and well-developed ability to suspend disbelief but accepting this was asking a lot even by my standards.

Assigning a letter grade to this book is hard for many reasons. Overall I did not enjoy reading it, but I did finish it and felt that this particular installment of the story wrapped up efficiently and left enough material in reserve for book number four to pick right up without having to clarify much. On the other hand, I have read a lot of positive reviews so apparently other people liked this book specifically and this series in general. On a mysterious but necessary third hand, I've heard this series compared to tentacle hentai so I guess the moral of the story is that if it sounds interesting, get the first book out of the library and go from there. Personally I'm probably all set and will leave the rest of the series for other people to...experience.

It is this vision, that keeps him sane throughout whatever torture Anubis has done to him, as well as his inner conflict, of having two souls…Atlantean & Nereid. Justice is constantly fighting off the Nereid soul, who wants total control. Just about when he feels he is losing his sanity, he attempts an escape from the Void.

Keely McDermott is a well known feisty archaeologist. What Keeley has kept secret to everyone, is her ability to touch objects, and be able to read and feel everything about it. By touching these objects, it triggers events related to the object, and those visions take its toll on Keeley. As a child, Keeley was treated by her own family as being different, and learned to hide her ability, so people would not think she was strange. Therefore, she never had the chance to be able to talk about her gift, or to find out just what she was, until Atlantis came looking for her. Conlan and his team knew Keeley was an object reader, and they needed her to help them. Keeley, years before during one of her expeditions, found a fish carving, which gave her a vision of a beautiful warrior, with blue black hair. She dreamed of this warrior for years.

Almost the minute Keeley arrives in Atlantis, she sees the image of Justice trying to escape the Void through a portal. Justice sees Keeley, and recognizes that she is the woman who has kept him sane. He sees no one else, as he fights his insanity to get through the Void to Keeley. Justice is a pretty scary site for Keeley, as he comes through and grabs her away.

But Keeley, though scared at times, was the perfect person for the damaged Justice. She was a strong character, has courage, compassion, and great sense of humor. Once she was able to see into Justice’s mind, as well as Justice into her mind (for her bad childhood), Keeley was the one who would mend Justice back together. Despite her own difficulties, she was able to calm him, and pull him out of his insanity. In time, Keeley was the only one, who could heal him and blend his two souls together. When Justice looked at Keeley, he could feel her light to take him out of his darkness.

Loved their romance, even early on, when they were in the cave unable to get out, and she was scared. Things lighten a bit when he magically brought her pancakes to eat. Loved his intense love for her, the way he clung to his sanity for her sake, to protect Keeley in fighting off the more dangerous Neirid.. made it more intense. Though at times, he was bit arrogant, as it seems all of the warriors are in the beginning. Amazing how they think women, upon knowing them for all of 2 minutes, should do as they say. Lol But Keeley was his savior, especially when she got to know Justice better, and knew how to handle him. She brought him out of this dark place…with her love for him.

Until the end of Atlantis Awakening, I really did not pay attention too much attention to Justice…but “Atlantis Unleashed” does him justice. The last 1/3 of the book was very exciting, as Justice (& Neried) worked with Keeley to find the Star of Artemis, which was needed to add to the Trident. Something that is necessary for Atlantis to eventually rise. Keeley in one of her visions told Conlan and Ven, they cannot try to bring Atlantis up, unless they get all the jewels of Trident, otherwise Atlantis will be destroyed. Another part of the story I really enjoyed, was Keeley falling for the little orphaned girl, whom she met in the village in South America, where they had to help them fight off the vampires.

I really enjoyed this book, and loved Justice and Keeley together. At this point, I still like Erin the best of the heroines, though I do like Riley, Kat and Keeley. Even though we have to wait for a bit to have Quinn’s story, I think she just might be the best one yet, as Day keeps teasing us with Alaric and Quinn. But with the new girl introduced in this story…Tiernan, who based on Brennan acting badly in front her, as well as Grace, whom Alexios is constantly thinking of, are more heroines to come.

This is definately the best book in the series so far. It continues on the bigger story of overcoming the vampire threat on humanity and finding out how to raise Atlantis, and also continues the more personal story of Lord Justice, who last we saw was being taken away by the bitch vampire goddess Anubisa for an eternity of torture.

I'll admit it - I'm hooked on Alyssa Day ( http://www.alyssaday.com/ )in general and her Atlanteans, specifically. I was captivated before I finished the first page and stayed up entirely too late on a work night to finish the entire story.

This was my second time reading this book and it only got better. Justice became one of my favorite characters in the Warriors of Poseidon series when he threw himself into Anubisa'a clutches to save Ven and Erin. This book was a good book. I liked the concept and it was different. Although I don't think this was the first book in the series. Dr. Keely McDermott is an archaeologist from Ohio, who has a strange connection to a wooden fish carving, and has an extraordinary gift. Justice is from Atlantis, who's also part Nemeid, which mean he has the mind of two souls. Justice and the other warriors fight vampires who want to take over the world. Keely is sent to Atlantis to find another stone to unleash Atlantis. Keely and Justice are attracted to each other from the beginning but they tend to butt heads. While looking for the stone they end realizing their destiny.

From the beginning the story it had me drawn to both Keely and Justice with such strong emotions that I knew I was going to love this story to pieces. With every page I flipped I went deeper into the world that Alyssa Day created. This is a fantastic new paranormal series that you're going to love.
The romance was good, but the heat and passion between Keely were great. This is for sure one of my favorite series.

Day brings out the alpha in Justice but he is still very much aware of his weaknesses and flaws. He is dominant and he has a great sense of humor. I loved the fact that Keely was almost just as protective as Justice was for her. It had so many "awwww" parts, I couldn't keep myself from giggling like a little girl.

Keely had a dry sense of humor that I couldn't stop myself from laughing. She was also strong, determined, and had so much courage she couldn't contain it. The bantering between the warriors is another one of my favorite parts. Justice, is well yum! And he has blue hair! *winks* I love it! I loved the Justice cared for her and tried to hold on to what sanity he had left just for her. It was so touching and very intense.

You get a chance to fall in love with the secondary characters. I am truly excited to read more of this series and get a chance to read about the other Warriors of Poseidon. The story keeps building and building you just fall right into step as if your right along with them and that was a total plus for me.

Alyssa Day really makes her sex scenes not only count, but makes them sizzling. I was waiting for them to confront Anubisa, but that didn't happen. Just maybe they will later on in the series.; *crosses fingers* As the series moves forward the plot get deeper and clearer. I think I might have an idea where this is going and I am looking forward to following the rest of the series.

Atlantis Unleashed not only has love and sacrifice, but darkness and light. It is a fun ride and I am looking forward to Atlantis Unmasked.(less)

Let me start by stating that this was a book of which I have been anticipating its release for well over a year! I read ATLANTIS AWAKENING in November 2007 and upon closing that book I was desperate to know how things would continue. At that time the wait was going to be about 6 months. However, unfortunately due to circumstances beyond the author's control that 6-month period was extended to waiting for over 18 months before I could satisfy my need for Justice's story. In this period my anticipation grew and grew and grew and when this book finally arrived on my doorstep I literally cheered and couldn't wait to dive into it. I am glad and very relieved to say that my very high expectations of this book were thoroughly met.

The first two chapters chained me to both Keely and Justice with such strong emotions that I just knew this was going to be worth every minute of the long wait. Then, unexpectedly, after those first two chapters I had a little bit of trouble getting into the flow of the story but this was just for a brief moment and I think I could have avoided this little hitch if I had re-read at least ATLANTIS AWAKENING before diving into ATLANTIS UNLEASHED. More importantly, it was so minor that before long I was pulled into a book that gave me a cast of warriors anyone should have at his or her back, a wonderful heroine and a tormented hero I just wanted to cuddle up to, wrap my arms around and tell him everything was going to be okay. After the few chapters it took me to get reacquainted with the world of Atlantis, I just wasn't able to let go of this book. With every page I went down deeper and deeper into this intriguing world that Alyssa Day is building up excellently. She did it again and gave me a book that fitted the previous ones perfectly and still had its own unique vibe and story.

What I truly love about Alyssa Day's books are her characters and her world building. The men are alpha to the core but still very much aware of their weaknesses and flaws. They are dominant without being overbearing or annoying and they have a great sense of humor. I really admire Alyssa Day for being able to write heroes like these and I absolutely think it is linked to the heroines she pairs the Warriors with. The women in Day's books are all strong, feisty and no-nonsense heroines, who aren't afraid to put the men in their right places when they threaten to cross the line, whether that is in dominance, in arrogance or with stupid actions.

In this book I liked that Keely was just as protective of Justice as he was of her. But then again I liked Keely a lot. I loved her dry sense of humor, her strength of character, her tenacity, her courage and her compassion. Despite all she has gone through with her gift that others, even those closest to her, mistake for insanity, she takes life as it comes, makes the best of it and is there to help others, to help Justice. She is truly light to his darkness.

And then Justice, he really touched my heart. His youth, his fractured soul, his internal fights both between honor and defiance and between doing what's right or giving into his power-hungry side. It all made they way he cared for Keely and the way he clung to his sanity for her sake, more intense. He came from a dark, dark place and struggled his way to the light, both literally and figuratively. I must confess that, in the previous books, Justice only caught my attention at the very end of ATLANTIS AWAKENING but with his own book he has made a big and lasting impression on me. And that’s another winning point for Alyssa Day, because there are authors out there who manage to do exactly the opposite with secondary characters turned heroes.

The secondary characters are mainly the other warriors and potential heroines and I foresee some more great chemistry and dialogue in future books of this series. I caught some glimpses of Alaric, Alexios, Christopher and Brennan that make their stories much anticipated. Because of the set-up of Justice and Keely's story the supporting characters’ roles where less prominent than in the other books but still there was enough room for the familiar and much appreciated brotherly bantering and camaraderie. There are a few other secondary characters that intrigued me, especially the ones in Guatemala. For fear of spoilers I'm not able to say much about them but I have to say one of them gave the story a very heart breaking and endearing dimension.

Alyssa Day's world building is something that I noticed and liked from the very beginning. It started in ATLANTIS RISING, was continued in ATLANTIS AWAKENING and the novellas and now in ATLANTIS UNLEASHED once again I wasn’t disappointed with it. Not only does she provide a comprehensible and clear background for the characters and plot, she also weaves plotlines seamlessly into each other. She connects elements that seem unrelated in a very subtle way, bringing it all together for the reader without much difficulty and with the perfect balance between plot and romance and characters.

Compared to the other WARRIORS OF POSEIDON books/novellas, there aren't many sex scenes in this one ("only" two), but that didn't bother me at all, because the ones that are in there, boy, Alyssa Day really makes them count. They are touching and arousing at the same time, oozing with a hungry urgency and sizzling passion and still there is room for humor and fun. For me quality is much more important than quantity. I’d rather read one excellent love scene in a book than half a dozen halfhearted ones and Alyssa Day fulfilled this requirement with flying colors in ATLANTIS UNLEASHED.

One thing I did expect in this book, and I was a bit sad about it when it did not come, was a confrontation with Anubisa, the vampire goddess. It was something that was in my line of expectation after the previous books but surprisingly Alyssa Day took me in a different direction with that part of the ongoing plot. Still I think she is setting up the ongoing plot brilliantly, she just took a different corner than I was expecting in this book.

With every book the plot seems to get clearer and a sense of understanding is beginning to dawn, at least with me. I have my suspicions about what direction Alyssa Day is taking but I also say this with much caution because my favorite authors (and Alyssa Day is one of them) always seem to surprise me with unexpected twists and turns. Needless to say that I am willing to go wherever she takes me in all this and even though I missed a true battle with Anubisa, it still didn't take away my satisfaction with the plot part of this book.

ATLANTIS UNLEASHED was a wonderful story of love, sacrifice, darkness and light. It was filled with witty fun, arousing sensuality and at times tear jerking emotions. With every word, every page, every chapter this book got better and better, working up to a mind-blowing, emotional and action-packed conclusion. All I can say is that I'm ready for the next Warrior of Poseidon to tell me his story when I dive back into the Alyssa Day's world of Atlantean warriors, courageous human women, shape-shifters and vampires.(less)

So I just finished the third book in the series and I must say that I am so hooked on this series. "Atlantis Unleashed" continues the saga of the warriors of Poseidon's never ending fight against the growing darkness of the vampire and shape-shifter threat to humanity.

Atlantis Unleashed by Alyssa Day was well worth the wait. According to the author's website quite a few months back, Alyssa Day was not able to publish her next book in the Warriors of Poseidon series due to illness. Happily, all is now well and the pub date was set for (technically) book 3.

It didn't take long to get back into the world of the Atlantean warriors. Day does a good job of catching up and filling in any back story from the previous books. There is also a glossary in the back of the book. It's fairly short with just the basic terminology but can be helpful, mainly for the definitions of Shape-shifters and vampires.

This is a series that should be read in order. Yes, Day provides back story but the seven warriors are a close group and they all play a role in each others' books. As the series progresses the reader gets to know them. The warriors don't stagnate even when they're secondary characters. There is character development going on, although it may be small, it's still there.

This story is Justice's story. He is the handsome warrior with the big sword and blue hair. Yeah, I had a hard time picturing a big, buff warrior with blue hair. I kept picturing him more like a scrawny punk rocker. LOL He's been the prisoner of the Vampire goddess Anubisa who enjoys inflicting pain and suffering on her prisoners. While imprisoned he has visions of a beautiful women but he doesn't know who she is, only that he needs her. Once he escapes his prison he finds the mystery women and he has to have her.

Dr. Keely McDermott is not just an archaeologist, she's also a object reader. She has the psychic ability to touch an object and see it's history through the eyes of a person who came in contact with it. The visions are usually violent or emotional so Keely needs to protect herself. She wears gloves so as not to inadvertently touch something that could cause a disturbing vision. While I liked Keely I felt sorry for her. She kept herself fairly isolated mainly because of her psychic ability. Her parents thought of her as a freak, sending her to numerous psychologists when she was a child. The fact that she wasn't "normal" made them uncomfortable and kept them at a distance. I thought her parents overacted in their lack of support for their daughter but we really didn't get much back story on them, just the basics, so I chalked it up to them being asses.

Keely gets pulled into Atlantis and the fight against the growing threat from the vampires and the shape-shifters. She's stunned to find out that Atlantis really exists and thrilled to get the chance to explore the fabled underwater city. What she doesn't expect is the blue haired warrior of one of her visions to show up.

Justice is really screwed up after he escapes Anubisa. He's got a nasty voice in his head, trying to take over. Justice is part Nereid and it's the crazy Nereid in his head that's trying to take over Justice's body. One thing the Nereid wants is Keely. It's a battle that Justice fights within himself because he's not sure if Keely is safe from the Nereid. We get to know the Nereid through his voice and he's a true cave man. It was weird to have the two distinct characters in one body. Kind of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with neither one very appealing. It wasn't that I didn't like Justice as much as it was that I didn't feel like I got to know the real Justice until towards the end.

One thing I did like about Atlantis Unleashed is seeing Alaric and Quinn again. They are the Sam and Alyssa of the series. Alaric is an Atlantean high priest and has taken a vow of celibacy so no Quinn for him. Quinn is the sister of Riley, heroine of book one. Quinn is also one of the leaders of the rebel forces. About 10 years ago the vamps and shifters came out to the world and ever since then they've been taking over. They have infiltrated big business and government and continue to get stronger throughout the world. Quinn and her rebel fighters are trying to stop the vamps and rogue shifters from taking over and enslaving the humans. I like Alaric and Quinn but they're story line is starting to drag. It's just gotten really sad and they're due for some happiness, even if it's a quickie. :)

Keely and Justice and their love story... didn't exactly work for me. It was that Mr. Hyde horning in on their alone time, telling Justice to "just take her, fuck her" that really sucked the romance out of it. And then towards the end when I thought they had finally reached an agreement (Justice and the Nereid) the story takes a different turn and Justice and Keely wind up in the jungle. They're looking for one of the lost gem stones of Atlantis. It's crucial to find the gem stones if Atlantis is to rise safely from the ocean floor. They have to battle vampires before they can search for the gem stone. The fight scenes are fairly decent but I had hoped for more romance.

Not sure how to grade this one. I liked seeing all the warriors and previous characters again and getting to know some of them better. I liked the continuing story line of the vamps and rogue shifters gaining power. I liked the rebels, cause they're rebels. :) I just wasn't crazy about the hero and heroine as a couple. Hmmm...(less)

Keely can't quite believe it at first...Atlantis is read and her weird skill can actually help them! When she's taken down to the watery kingdom, she knows this will be the biggest archaeological find of her career...even if she can't tell anyone about it. Then she sees the man she's been dreaming about, Lord Justice, and he claims her like a possession. At first she's frightened, then intrigued, and soon in love. But she'll have to accept BOTH sides of his nature AND convince him that her love doesn't come with a measuring bar.

I'm a sucker for this series. The baddies are really bad (mostly vamps and weres) and the good guys are awesome (and WAY sexy). With each book and each warrior's story, I swear that it's my favorite...until the next one comes out.

If you like tortured heroes, then Lord Justice is your dream guy. He's tortured physically (by Anubis), mentally (by his dual nature), and psychologically (by his illegitimate birth). That's one screwed up dude! But reading about his early years will bring a tear to your eye and watching him find the woman who loves him for all of him was wonderful. Keely was mentally strong and showed her grit in their search for the stone and fighting their enemies. I see some definite threads for future books in this one.

I like the sexy parts of this series, the overarching plotline, the individual plots of each book, the heroes, the heroines, the action, the mysteries...ummm, did I leave anything out? "Atlantis Unleashed" was worth the wait (and that's hard for me to say) but I'm especially happy that "Atlantis Unmasked" is already available so I can continue Alyssa Day's fab series.
