Read in October, 2008
Not a bad book with some creative ideas. It updates the Forgotten Realms to fit in with the 4th edition Dungeons & Dragons rules, and it succeeds admirably. My main problem with the book is twofold:
1) It seems to me that the purpose of 4th edition D&D is to bring in new players into the game, yet the Campaign Guide seems to simply be an update to the Forgotten Realms for people already familiar with the Realms rather than being a book for people who might not be familiar with them....more
