This is the third book (but hopefully not the last) in the trilogy. Rachel has finally received her magic and is a full-time witch too!! Rachel's and Miri's parents have sent them to camp for the summer which is great because she'll be around Raf for the whole summer! Once she gets to camp, Rachel makes new friends with her bunk-mates and everything is going great (esp. with Raf!!) Miri, however, isn't so lucky and remains an outcast with the girls in her cabin. However, things start to go More...

I think that this book is an okay book. This book is about a teenage witch named Rachel and she finally got her powers. It's summer and Rachel is really excited to be going to camp. She meets a new friend. Her name is Alison but it so happens that during camp Alison was caught smoking and was sent home. This kind of ruined Rachel's summer. Her sister is turning really werid and also because her little sister is not making any new friends. Her magic powers still need training and is not in full c More...

Rachel Weinstein has powers! Finally! And she's growing boobs! Err, a boob. Whatever. She's finally catching up to her younger sister. (How bazzackwards does that sound?)

In this third installment of the Magin in Manhattan series, Rachel and Miri are sent to Camp Wood Lake for the summer. While Rachel is making friends with all the girls that share her bunk, Miri is having trouble fitting in. Rachel is desperately seeking the attention of Raf, but every time they're justabouttokiss someth More...

This time, Rachael is going to camp, along with her sister, Miri. At first, as she gets onto the bus to the camp, along the way, her sister gets carsickness and barfs all over her shirt. So they get off and go to a nearby bathroom to clean themselves up. As Rachael tries to wash her shirt, she has an idea to use magic in order to clean it. However, her somewhat successful attempt causes the shirts and pants' style to be changed to different colors. When they head back to the bus, it's labeled as More...

Even though I'm a mom, sometimes it's fun to revert back to my junior high years, give in to my need to be that nerdy little girl and read something that is plain ole fun. Miri and Rachel go to camp where they meet a new person who seems to enjoy giving Rachel, who has come into her magic powers, a really difficult time. The story delves into the feelings of how someone feels when they are ostracized.

There is no educational value, per se, but it's a fun read for 10 year olds and More...

More lightweight fun for teen girls with some magic thrown in, this entry in the "Magic in Manhattan" series finds newly minted witch Rachel Weinstein at summer sleepaway camp with her sister, Miri. Rachel immediately makes new friends & has a chance to hook up with her longtime crush, Raf, but everything takes a turn for the worse with the arrival of a new camper who is a little strange & seems out to make Rachel's life even more miserable than she can make it herself. Who is this Lia More...

After having been whining about her non-existent powers ever since her little sister Miri got them, Rachel finally discovers that there's magic inside her too. Although, at the moment, her spells aren't exactly that effective, and she has a tiny bit of trouble trying to control her emotions. But none of that really matters, because she's still a witch!

Rachel and her sister are going to camp this year, where the love of her life Raf, is also at. It's the perfect oppurtunity for them More...

This series is amazing, and if you haven't read it start with Bras and Broomsticks! Its awesome and you'll really love it! To learn more about it you can look on the website, which i can't remember right now but you can probably google it.
This one's about Miri and Rachel going to summer camp! Eeeeeeek!!!!! Now that Rachel has powers of her own, what could go wrong?! Okay.... Maybe a lot but so what? Plus Raf is at Camp Wood Lake, too, so it might not be that bad.

Third book in the Bras and Broomsticks series. Rachel is now a witch in her own right, and she and younger sister Miri are headed off to summer camp where Rachel hopes to attract the attention of a certain cute classmate. She does, but she also has major problems with a cousin she never knew she had. This cousin, also a witch, has decided that she likes Rachel's fairly normal teen life better than her own, and she wants to switch bodies with Rachel. Read the book to see what happens.

This is the third book in the 'Witch' series . It is by far the best. Rachel goes off to camp with her boyfriend, Raf and her sister, Miri. There, they me her evil cousin, Liana. Liana and Rachel switch bodies and then Liana tries to steal Rachel's family because she has a bad life.
Liana is discovered when she can't solve a math problem that Rachel would have been able to solve. Miri is the one to catch on.

This is the last book of the series of BRAS AND BROOMSTICS. I like the entire series, it kept me in suspense. Rachel(main character) develops her powers entirely in the last book. She experiences many problems with her magic at camp and finds her cousin there too. Her mother is a witch and so is her sister, her sister got the magic powers before Rachel, who is the oldest one.

Rachel has finally gotten her witch powers, but now she is being shipped off to camp, where she can't even practice. But do mom's rules stop her? Of course not!

Rachel gets to camp and has lots of issues. There are mosquitoes everywhere and her new step-mom keeps sending embarrassing personal care products. And the new girl in her bunk is a little weird -- maybe something weird like Rachel???

What will she do and h More...

Another fun installment in the Bras & Broomsticks series. Miri and Rachel are off to camp and all sorts of mishaps. The plot was a bit predictable but the humor and likable characters kept it fun. This is one my cotton candy reads - not much substance but oh so irresistible. I just love these and can't wait to read the next.

This is definately one of my favorite books! In this book, not only does it have typical teenager or magic a la Miri problems, but also magic a la Rachel and BIG problems. But also it (finally) involves some romance between Rachel and Raf! If you haven't already read this book, you're missing out on a lot.

Wow! This book was interesting, funny, and definitely action-packed! It made me happy, sad, angry, and laughing all at once! The situations that these girls get into is so ridiculous, and I have to put this down as my favorite Magic in Manhattan book. So funny! I have to say, my favorite Magic in Manhattan book!

What a great series. Rachel ends up having magical powers and heads off to camp with her 2 sisters.
Of course the magic is used and not in the way that they had hoped when using it. There were some weird turns and twists in this book but it was sooooo cute. I loved it :)

While just as cute as the first two, I saw where the premise of it was going early on. After that, it seemed like it was never all going to be resolved before the pages remaining ran out! Then it seemed like it all wrapped rather suddenly. I don't have any issues with HOW it all worked out, but I do know how it's sometimes easy or convenient to suddenly come to "the end" when things start to get complicated. No big deal, and it wasn't disappointing. I just didn't enjoy it as much as th More...

Cute, but left me kind of "eh". I missed book two (wasn't available at the library) and was a little caught by surprise that Rachel had become a witch. I thought it was less interesting that way. Still, I'm listening to book 4.

YESSSSSS! Rachel is FINALLY a witch and she's going to camp. I like how everything seems to kind of wrap up in the book and Sarah Mlynowski shows that anything is possible in the summer. Rachel meets amazing friends, Raf and Melessa broke up, and she's away from her mom. I loved this book because it seems like the typical story i wish i could be in... and its plenty funny! :)
