Victoria Bassington has been raised by her doting brother, and has been allowed to get away with anything. She's turned into a 20-year old terror who delights in outraging her society peers by joining the militant suffragists led by Emmeline Pankhurst. The arrival of her brother's friend, Aram the Pasha of Marrakesh, gives Victoria all kinds of opportunities to heap abuse on him for his less-than-liberated views on women. Her brother is at loose ends how to deal with her and tells the Pasha to t ...more
Oh Sweet Mother of God in a flaming canoe this was a bad book.

Not bad like Defiant Ecstasy bad, however. Shit did happen in this one. The writing is rather on the atrocious side with some rather

I can compare the heroine with the very realistic German android sex doll “An ...more

A fun, historical sex romp set in London and Morocco, this erotic, multiple-partner romance was way ahead of its time. A little similar to Johanna Lindsey's 'Captive Bride' storyline (minus the romantic prose) and only because it was 2nd sheikh story I'd read at the time.

The heroine is a spoiled English suffragette who insults her brother's friend, the she
Hmmm. Vicky-dearest neer really redeemed herself, in my opinion, and as such, the story did not impress me. Review to come...
