I loved this book , just like the First one of these series! Though it was slow in the middle but VERY INTERESTING in the end , I still really enjoyed it! I never thought that there could be so much mystery, assassination , justice and evilness. My favorite character was of course Paganel. He is the most funny yet a very clever ,curious and cunning person in the group. Though I thought that Major was the smartest in the group about Ayrton. One would know something in this book without having a s ...more

Second part on this series has let me down a bit. The adventure part of the book was reduced and the extense description of geography and history was significantly increased. Verne evidently wanted to express a large investigation on events and places of the australian region and other isles visited by the characters. I turnes a bit boring a looses que attraction to the real story. I'm reading this book along with my daugther that needs to read it for school and I can notice she doesn like it as ...more

Un naufragio, un mensaje incompleto en una botella, un sabio francés, un Lord escocés con dinero, tiempo y un barco, y los hijos del capitán Grant: ingredientes suficientes para vivir aventuras exóticas en los mares del Sur.
