READ ABOUT EUGENIA WEST IN THE AARP MAGAZINE AND WAS INTRIGUED. MS WEST IS NOW IN HER 80'S AND I THINK THIS IS HER SECOND NOVEL. SHE'S WRITTEN A THIRD THAT I PLAN ON READING VERY SOON. THIS BOOK IS A MYSTERY. IT STARTS A LITTLE SLOWLY AND YOU WONDER WHERE IT'S GOING. THEN IT PICKS UP SPEED AND YOU'RE HOOKED ON THE STORY. THE CHARACTERS ARE WELL DEVELOPED. A GOOD QUICK READ.

Shelves: mystery, thriller
Nice thriller about a woman who's life is turned upside down after her husband is killed. Some of the espionage stuff seemed a little far-fetched but I liked the characters and the possibility of books to come.

This was a fairly good mystery. Two parts I had to skip as Emma the main character reminisces about a past boyfriend. Quick read. A who done it that keeps you guessing, as long as you don't expect too much.

This is a local author so wanted to read her book...I'm not a reader of mysteries but I did enjoy this and look forward to reading her next book.
