Why did I read this junk? I'm not proud that I did. In fact I seriously debated putting my review on the site.
But...it arrived at my office as a preview copy, and of course, I couldn't help but pick it up. This book is about Hulse's lifestyle of the good looking and promiscuous. I was reading Tolstoy's Kreutzer Sonata at the same time when I read this, which made Hulse's book seem even more trite--and his insights rather "third-grade." Bruce Hulse's life as a fashion model was full of SEX........and sex. Although Hulse attempts to describe his transformation to that of devoted father and family-man, you can't help forget his hundreds of one-night stands with beautiful women. Nevertheless, you can't help liking Hulse and understand how easy it is to fall into that trap as a male fashion model.

Having covered fashion week in L.A. in the past, I was curious to read how things are on the other side. Since my nephew has the makings of male model, I thought I would also do some research. Interesting, frank account from a man who has worked for decades in this ephemeral business.

Trash, but entertaining. I always wonder if the author who is spilling secrets calls up those he is tattling about, in this case models like Paulina and Lauren Hutton and let's them know he is telling dirty little secrets. Picked it up during my lunch hour at work from the new book shelf and finished it quickly after skimming through most of it. How do books like this get published?
