i found this book to be very depressing. you can tell what they were feeling and what they were thinking when they all went through this. i also found it interesting that almost all of these people were thinking the same thin, that they were all going to die. especially those at d day when they went to they beach and onto the shore. the majority of them lost their friends and got badly injured. when you read this the emotions just flow through you.
