Recommends it for: Those who like sentiment without sap; or anyone.
AVG is one of the handful of exceptional poets currently writing in the Lansing, Michigan area. This collection gives an excellent view into what family members of those serving in the military during times of combat experience. AVG's writing here shows more than what a sister feels when her sister is serving in a war zone, communicating the sibling experience in a way that will move any sibling - whether familiar with war or not.
