I was a very fortunate to have Golombeski as a teacher and his book is just like him full of insperation and wit. Or as he would say witty and insightful commentary. It is now five years later and I still find memories comming back as I found the copy of he gave me! Five stars for a five star guy!

It's a pretty solid read. I truly enjoyed the writing style which was complete with Wisconsinisms, rock references, and a strong presence of moral benevolence.

“Without new life, death is simply sad. Without death, new life is without magic--the magic of wise voices of the past, now gone, but still urging us on, urging us to write a new song.” 0 likes
