I got this as a promo book when I worked at Borders, so my copy was unedited, but still very funny. I enjoy all of the new relationship propaganda books that tell you how to behave and how people interact, mostly because those books are (generally) totally worthless and lacking; this book, however, wasn't exactly that.
I enjoyed this book much more than others because instead of telling you how to behave, it lists personality types in a really relateable way. For example, it lists so More...

I don't normally go for books like this--light and "airy"--but I was at the library and passed by this one. The cover (and title) drew me in. I tend to read deep, dark and serious books (even my fiction is "heavy"), so I thought I'd give myself a break here. I did learn (or relearn) a few things and literally laughed out loud at some of their wit, but I couldn't help but wonder if these ladies like to drink just a bit too much now. Lots of drinking references--just about ever

This was on the "recommended new reads" shelf at the library so I picked it up. It was humorous but also very immature (at least the parts I read - I stopped around page 50). The book makes a great point that because of our instant communication, we communicate more than we used to. But also because of our instant communication, the quality of communication is much poorer and face to face communication has lessened as well. How as girls, we still need those true friends with real commu

Well this book starts with a catchy friendly manner of speaking. but after awhile, it gets a bit annoying overly referring to current popular culture.
Although I did find some of the descriptions interesting, a lot of it I just skimmed over. It seemed the authors were very eager to impress up with their cleverness. And in the end it feels as if they were trying a little too hard.

The style of writing that both of the authors use, is very catchy and similar to that of reading a magazine or blog. For this reason I enjoyed it. Some chapters were better than others, in that not all would pertain to each reader.

This was a fun read, and it had some helpful information, too. I'd definitely recommend it. The sense of humor about these "sticky" situations was welcome.

So far, I think it's hilarious and it seems like something every girl should read - to learn the rules and to be a better friend to all! But I'll let you know if my opinion changes...
... My opinion of this book did not change! It's really funny and reminds us why we have girl friends in the first place!

Cute and funny, but low on substance. The jokes were entertaining but it's unlikely this book will teach you anything you didn't already know.

Probably this book is not my cup of tea. It took me forever to finish it. Don't waste your time to read this kind of book. If you plan to purchase it, please borrow or steal it instead. I'm sorry :(

It was a book for people who are clueless to those around them. Just read Cosmo or Glamour when they print an article on friends- it provides the same information for a fraction of the cost. I would return this book if I had the receipt.

This book is like one giant Cosmo article breaking down friends into types and dispensing friendship advice.
