The first story in this Omnibus is A Cowboy Christmas by Ann Major. And honestly, it was this short story that pulled my thoughts on this book way down.

Heddy and Lelander were both born on Christmas Eve. That's pretty much were the similarities end. She's daddy's little princess, and he's an orphan from the wrong side of the tracks. And yet, they still manage to fall in love.

These books were a nice, fast read, but not delving deep into the characters. In the first book, A Cowboy Christmas, I don't think there was enough detail as to why Heddy was indecisive and didn't stick up for or believe in her husband except for a fast little snipit towards the end.

In A Cowboy for Christmas I would've like it more if Stella Bagwell would've developed her bad guy, Richard, a little more. Followed him around a bit, got into his mind. Also I don't know how Chance put all the "clue

I liked the second story better than the 1st of these, but I truly wouldn't give each of them your time. I found them to be slow to build a story line; Chemistry wasn't real strong & even the heat between the couples wouldn't even count as slow simmer....so I truly was disappointed with both & would recommend a pass on this book altogether. At the very least it can qualify for a speed read, but that's about it.

Margaret Major was born on February 13, 1946 in Texas, U.S.A..
