Recommends it for: advertising students
Very good book for creative students. I feel that it alienates account service and planning departments but overall gives great insight to anyone hoping to enter the field of advertising.

An inspirational book! Do's and dont's of working in advertising! Nancy and Janet's tone is very encouraging.
Pauline Caberte
Extremely informative. Q&A style book that is insightful and informative.

Good, casual book compiling questions, answers, and insights into the world of advertising. Authors Nancy Vonk and Janet Kestin are very colloquial/casual in the way they write, so that makes the book easy to read. However, after reading this book, I have come to the realization that perhaps I am not meant to pursue a path in advertising as I had thought I would. Therefore, this book was helpful for me in figuring out what I want in terms of a career.

Recommends it for: aspiring ADs and CWs
Really depressing (but truthful) account of how difficult it is to break into the world of creative advertising. The format is a mixture of narrative, short stories and Q&A's.
