As someone starting to use a video camera more seriously I found this book extremely useful, not just for all the lessons, tips and examples, but in the way the interviewees would explain something in a few words that gelled the knowledge being imparted in the chapter.

The book goes from planning all the way to selling your documentary, and is one I highly recomend to anyone who wants to learn more about the craft.
