Concise text, this explores (as the title says) varying aspects of the natural environment and also the ways in which its existance is affected by human action. There's a section which explains in depth the various attributes of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and biosphere. Another chapter focuses on the biosphere encompassing pollution issues, related conventions, etc, and then there is also focus on tectonic and geomorphologic processess.....
