Red went to visit her sick old grandmother and ran into the wolf. The wolf got Red to pick some wildflowers for Granny then he went and ate her in one bite. He waited for Red and did the same to her when a man came walking through and noticed the open door with a wolf in the bed. He cut open the wolf to find both Red and Granny safe. He filled the wolf full of rocks and Red never walked in the forrest alone again.

"Red Riding Hood" is apart of Rabbit Ears Storybook Classics and is probably the most dramatic one to date. Meg Ryan is the narrator of this story and she brings intensity and humor to this story as she narrates with a tender tone. She brilliantly gives the Wolf a French accent, making the story extremely creative. Art Lande's music is old fashioned yet sweet and tender and he makes the music extremely dramatic when Red visits the wolf in the bed. Laszlo Kubinyi's illustrations are beautiful, ...more
This book is about a little girl who is going to deliver food to her sickly grandma. On the way over a wolf spots her and wants to eat her and what is in her basket. He goes to her grandmas house and eats the grandma before she gets there. He acts as the grandma and a woodsman comes along and gets the grandma out of the wolf. They live happily ever after.
This was a very traditional version of little red riding hood. Red is sent to her grandmothers house to go and give goodies. She sees a wolf and does not listen to her mothers requests for her to stay on the path. She veers from it and the typical ending occurs
