Red went to visit her sick old grandmother and ran into the wolf. The wolf got Red to pick some wildflowers for Granny then he went and ate her in one bite. He waited for Red and did the same to her when a man came walking through and noticed the open door with a wolf in the bed. He cut open the wolf to find both Red and Granny safe. He filled the wolf full of rocks and Red never walked in the forrest alone again.

This book is about a little girl who is going to deliver food to her sickly grandma. On the way over a wolf spots her and wants to eat her and what is in her basket. He goes to her grandmas house and eats the grandma before she gets there. He acts as the grandma and a woodsman comes along and gets the grandma out of the wolf. They live happily ever after.
