I actually found this book helpful. It is set up as an easy reference, with lots of samples to illustrate the talking points. The point is to help job seekers get their information across in a time-sensitive way, rather than encouraging analysis paralysis as many books seem to do for me.
I didn't read every word, but I took the highlights that I thought were pertinent to me and found them. Having worked in the resume and cover letter writing industry, many of the tips here felt like common sense....more
