A solid piece with utility. Unlike some other teaching composition books, this compendium focuses on real life strategies for getting kids to learn the paradigms of writing, rather than just offering some choice philosophy and abstract talk about rhetoric.

One of the best books, if not the best, I have read in regards to my career as a teacher. Dr. JAC has concrete techniques to teaching skills that often stump struggling students. This is a must read/own for ALL teachers, especiallty those who teach writing.
Yolandra
Great ideas that help understand how to teach writing.
Nika
Helpful, albeit drier than it should be.
Rhonda
