Great lecture/short book. Dimendberg argues for three aspects required for a culturally reflective practice.

1. The potential for conflict should be treated as an object for investigation and inspiration.

2. Our spatial spatial understanding and predilections have a history, they ceaselessly change, and the absolute truth remains elusive. You should maintain a restless uncertainty about the identity of the metropolis and architecture.

3. Designers need to take a piece of art(in any form) and allow
