I adored this series, it was actually one of the first manga I ever bought, I bought this and chobits. Chobits and Culdcept are what got my brother into manga; he now owns over 900 manga books. It will always have a special place in my heart and even now, years later, I am still upset that it was never finished.

Culdcept is based on video game (which, in turn, is based on a card/board game), and it shows. Teens interested in collectible card games will probably enjoy this.

The story is pretty standard and the artwork is good (though the violence is a bit too graphic for younger kids).

Not bad for a manga made after a computer game. Nice artwork and quite enjoyable story. Still not sure about buying next volumes though.

Feels a bit like that episode of Yu-Gi-Oh where they went into the VR game and had to summon monsters from their cards. Actually, except for VR part, that pretty much sums this up.
