A delightful book with an enterprising heroine. Zara, whose father is traveling in exotic places, finds a way to keep her father’s hat shop open. She creates fanciful hats with ribbons and flowers and papier-mache animals.

I love fancy hats. This story is about a girl whose father is a milliner and owns a hat shop that makes fancy hats. I really enjoyed it and will probably check it out from the library multiple times to read to my daughter.

Nice, involved story about a girl helping in her family's hat shop. Nice because the girl has a lot of agency and her work is appreciated.
