It is hard to find quality children's books! I am so greatful for William Steig. This was one of my favorites as a child and have rediscovered his books now that I read them to my nephew. They are well written, well illustrated, and the stories are timeless. I have never been disappointed with any Steig book.
Whee! Gorky rises from the sky. he is now called flying frog. Not just he passes through his house,he passes through the whole village.
Read this one in college, too!
