Personal Reaction: I really do not like bugs, but this book was crazy interesting! It talks about all different things dealing with insects including what they eat and drink, what they look like, how they grow, body shape and size, etc. It really fascinated me.

Read Aloud: This would not be a good cover to cover read aloud for a classroom. You could definitely read parts of the book if you were learning about specific insects, but you would not want to read the whole thing through. This book woul

My father made a big deal about getting this set for me as a child. And sadly like so many kids. I was not as grateful for it as I should have been.

I DID like them very much. I just did not see the great urgency in my collection my father seemed to.

Looking back. It was a fabulous investment. So if you are looking into getting any of these for your children - do so!

OK I know these are supposed to be kid books but they are awesome! Great pictures and just enough text to make you want to learn more. Great choices for a beginning history reader or to start an older reader out in a new area. Every time I pick one of these up and read it I learn new things. Did you know that German women during the war were awarded medals based on the number of children they had to replenish the German Army. Highly Recommended
