I have a borrowed copy of this and I was excitedly reading through the patterns. There are several that I think are REALLY cute and I would not mind making. Then I looked at the sizing. It stops at a size Large and the largest bust measurement is 30". Even in high school when I was 105 lbs I had more chest than that.
I decided this was not the book for me to throw my time and yarn at right then and there.
After reading other reviews of this book I see that it also has More...

I've been curious about knitting with chunky yarn for a while so I got this book from the library after it popped up in the books you might like section on Amazon.
I was incredibly dissapointed. The patterns are clearly made with models in mind and not real people (largest bust size I saw was 30", largest waist size I saw was 24"). The photos were dark which made some of the garments hard to see and the patterns themselves weren't very inspriring. Many seemed to be knock-of More...

eh.
I checked it out from the library for a specific pattern (found after searching Ravelry for ideas on what to do with my Cascade magnum stash) and found a book that:
a) Ignores everyone over a C-cup and/or a size 7
b) Poorly written patterns
c) Is a little too high on its own fashion fumes.
I can't decide whether it's worth my time to adapt the pattern to a larger size, given that the pattern is so very flawed to begin with.

Well the patterns look compelling. I am new to what I now gather is Twinkle mania, so I am looking at the book with a fresh eye.
I love chunky yarn, but alas it is usually very expensive and true, hard to make a finished elegant piece of clothing out of most of the time.
Well, the concepts are inspiring...I haven't executed any of the patterns.

I'm giving this a 5 because the knits are so fabulous. I know everyone complains about her patterns, but you can obtain the errata for her books from the yarn manufacturer's website. I'm making at least 5 items out of here... can't wait!!!

Meh. My DD and I saw a shop sample of the evening shell, knit longer as a dress. She is never interested in knitwear, but she liked this, so I may make it - still thinking about it. She has a curvy figure - but very trim, these are all high fashion model type clothes.
Liked: Evening Shell
Best Friend Cardigan and
Groovy sweater Dress
I read this from the library, I wouldn't buy it.

Great designs but they could be much better written. Not only does the book now come with an insert full of errata but there is a PDF file you can download for this book that is three pages long.

Great designs, but I've heard there are a lot of errors even with errata sheets. Not for beginners.

Looking at fellow craftster's finished projects from these patterns, I'm not sure any of them would be flattering on my big girl body.

UGH! The designs look cute, but once you start to work with them you find out that their pattern designer is an idiot! There are so many errors! You basically have to redesign the whole pattern yourself to make it look like it does in the pictures... I still give it 3 stars because the finished works do look good- though I'm not sure if that's a credit to the book or me?

I loved all the patterns in this book. Haven't made any yet but I will as I already ordered some bulky yarn. Not her yarn, it's too pricey for me. The instructions seem easy to read and the photos are very nice.

This book was very interesting, sometimes even bizarre. Even if you don't think you'd knit any of the patterns, I'd still check it out just to see the knitted designs.

not bad, though i probably shouldn't have actually spent this money on this book since most of the patterns you can figure out just by looking at the pictures.

There are some really cute patterns in here. But it was more of a curiosity read for me. Craft-porn, if you will. I'm not advanced enough to knit a sweater...yet.

...beautiful photos...but do the patterns translate into beautiful clothes? Several are queued on My Notebook on Ravelry. We'll see.

I'm going to attempt to knit something from this book with the help of my lovely mother. Wish me luck, I'll need it!!

The patterns in this book are simple and straight forward... I just wish her chunky yarn wasn't so expensive!

Some very chic designs in this book. Quick, easy knits and the layout and pictures are great.
