I thought it was a novel, with new/updated info or opinions. It's a companion book to a TV special and DVD. It was a quick read. Didn't give me too much more new info than I already knew from reading other Elvis books.

It's a book you really "read" - just browse through. I've been obsessed with Elvis since I was young (perhaps brought by the incessant playing of oldies music in my house). Just fun for the Elvis fan.
