The joy of getting over 100 pages in to realise this is another book I have read, the 3rd this week. I couldn't remember the end though so stuck with it.

Jackie Collins doing what she does best, junk food for the brain. Petty spoilt rich bitches, sex, drugs and skulduggery.

Cameron Paradise, Paradise the chosen name after running away from her abusive husband has fled to L.A to make a new life for herself as a fitness trainer with big plans on the horizon.

Ryan Richa More...

Though she throws in a few cameos of characters from previous books, Jackie Collins pulls us into a new sphere with new characters in this novel. Cameron Paradise is a personal trainer with dreams. After escaping her abusive ex-husband in Hawaii, Cameron is working at an exclusive club in LA with an ever-increasing stable of satisfied clients. The newest is talk show sensation Don Verona, a handsome Lothario who immediately becomes intrigued with Cameron when she deflects his advances. Don’s More...

Typical Jackie Collins book---easy to read, trashy, and cheating.

The story loosely revolves around Cameron Paradise, who leaves her abusive husband and ends up in LA. She is a personal fitness trainer for the stars. She gets involved with one of her clients, Don Verona, who is a known womanizer. Cameron then meets his best friend Ryan Reynolds (the book jacket has him listed as Ryan Lambert though?????). Cameron really likes Ryan way more than Don but, Ryan is married to Mandy. Mand More...

Jackie Collins' usual sexy, steamy, scandulous reads.

Back Cover Blurb:
Cameron Paradise, a stunning twenty-four-year-old personal trainer, flees Hawaii and her abusive husband and makes her way to L.A. Tall, blond, with a body to die for, it doesn't take Cameron long to find a job at an exclusive private fitness club where she encounters LA's most important players. She has plans to open her own studio, and while every man she meets comes on to her, she is more focused on saving More...

As I do almost every summer I read read a book with no literary value every once in awhile. I guess after years of being in school from September to June the 'mental break' in reading is always nice and Jackie Collins' books always fit the bill. I have enjoyed some of her earlier work more than I enjoyed this one. As with a lot of her stories it was WAY to predicable. Some of the items that were suppose to be 'plot twist' .. or 'secrets' .. I had figured out at the time I finished the paragr More...

I picked this up at Target because it was practically free and I was looking for a paperback to take to The Cabin that would take about .2 brain cells to comprehend.

This fit the bill!

But sadly, it wasn't like the trashy Jackie Collins that I remember from my past. It was sort of stupid and didn't really go anywhere, plot-wise and there wasn't enough stereotypical LA trash to keep me interested. Finishing the book was a bit of a chore and I almost didn't even post it More...

Married Lovers took me on a good ride. We follow several characters, whose stories and romantic lives all intertwine. The main characters are Cameron Paradise, a personal trainer looking to become a successful entrepreneur and leave a dreadful past behind. She ends up in a love triangle with Don Verona, talk show host and womanizer and his best friend Ryan.

Ryan is a successful director and producer who happens to be married to Mandy, daughter of a major Hollywood mogul Hamilton Hec More...

I finally finished this book today, despite the fact that it not really appealed to me after the first fifty pages. The book didn't really have a plot and dragged on too long. Since it took place in LA and the cover promised me 'lust, passion, love and murder' I thought I'd see a lot of that in the book, but most of it was actually a setting up for the big grand finale which turned out to be not so big and grand. It actually was quite a disappointment. Not something I'd read again.

This was my first Jackie Collins novel and I have to say, it was a bit tamer than I expected! I was expecting lots of graphic sex scenes but there really wasn't too much-not that that's a bad thing-I just always assumed her writing was more explicit than this one.

I read this for the Totally Trashy book club and it definitely fit the bill. I wasn't enjoying myself at first but once I was able to sit with the book for a period of time instead of just reading before I went to bed the bo More...

"MARRIED LOVERS" by Jackie Collins! Just finished up last night & LET ME TELL YA - WOW!! I loved all the twist & turns of this book. Each character was interesting! I LOVE the way Jackie writes! She was easy to read & FUNNN!!!!! This book had a story "with-in" the MAIN story & for the longest time I couldn't figure out what the hell the point was - then BAM!!! It's very sexual (as if the title didn't tell ya that much) lol -- -ENJOY! 8-D

Every gal needs some fluff reading every once in awhile! Personal trainer Cameron Paradise is starting her life over in Hollywood, away from her abusive husband. Other high-powered socialites are balancing pettiness, life chnages, and infidelity. Anya is overscoming the hardships of her life that started with enforced prostitution from a young age.

The plot's a little random and the central character's a little on the smug side, but these caveats aside, Jackie Collins delivers a deliciously racy read. Her relaxed prose sends you flying through the pages, and there are a wealth of colourful subsidiary characters to keep you interested. One of my fav writers!

This was sitting on my book shelf and I picked it up for a cheap read. Oh Lord, what a badly written book with no characterization, no real plot, nothing interesting except the slightly gossipy aspect to it.

To say this sucked wouldn't touch it. This was a waste of paper.

I really liked this book I havent read a good book for a while. It has a mix of everything, from trashy affairs, new realtionships, unexpected relationships, and the russian prostitution scene. Took me a month to read and I couldnt put the book down. I really wished there was more of the Cameron and Ryan relationship. It really reminded me of how Hollywood is being betrayed and their lifestyle. All the celebrities can sleep with whomever they want and they can forget it the next day. What More...

I really like Jackie Collins for complete escapism reading. I love the Lucky Santangelo series and her stand alones. This one isn't my favorite of all time - but it wasn't a waste of time by any means! :)

I liked how a few stories were being told and they all became one story in the end. I also liked how everyone's problems were solved, even if some of the resolutions weren't as positive as they could've been!

OK, I know, super trashy, but I was stuck at an airport and bought it at the bookshop. I used to read Jackie as a teenager on summer vacations, so it was a juicy, quick read and really fun to read about hotspots in LA now that I live there.

I picked this because Jackie Collins stated one of the characters was based upon Craig Ferguson. How much fun would that be!

Perfect for a summer read - light, fast and mindless.

Typical Jackie Collins; talk about a writing style that never changes but perfect for a summer day on the deck. The only fun left is trying to figure out who she is really writing about.

Married lovers was so great, it was so entertaining , and had characters that you can't help falling in love with. This storyline, would be so great has a movie ( like all her novels honestly).
