This is the book that helped me see how much I struggling from trying to squelch my anger all the time, meanwhile it was leaking out all my seams. While I'm not sure the book helped me makes tons of progress, it created a safe place from which I could ask for help.
Great book with a one-of-a-kind understanding of anger. The basic idea that anger cannot be rationalized away but instead has to be expressed by the body (in a safe way!) is one I whole-heartedly agree with. I even would go so far as to say that the world would be a better place if every child and young adult was taught how to "experience and express their anger appropriately".
