What am I to make of this, this, whatever this is?
I have read the other reviews about poor translations and who on earth kisses people at random under trees. While they are right, plus, I felt that this series had a terrible combination of not only poor editing, but poor storytelling as well. How can I tell this and not think it can be boiled down to just poor translating? Well at the beginning, her hat blew off her head and somehow she ended up in a tree floating downward towards Jin. The disjo

It started off alright. The artwork is nice, and the main character quite pretty too. But this tale of a forbidden love isn't all that forbidden after all...can't you see the ending coming a mile off? :P

In any case, this is the first of three volumes detailing a sweet and rather-predictable shoujo story, without much angst. Mao meets a hot guy under the sakura, they kiss (somehow-randomly), she finds out he's her uncle. But they live together for a bit because Mao's parents are traveling oversea

Uhh, I hate to be mean, but I really really did not like this. The artwork itself wasn't all that bad I suppose, it was mostly the plot itself that I hated. The main character Mao finds this dude sleeping under a tree and she goes over and stares at him. The guy suddenly wakes up. If I was the guy I would be like, 'WTF? why are you creepin on me in my sleep?' But, noo! The guy grabs her and like makes out with her for no real reason. So this guy goes from perfectly nice to tree rapist in 10 seco ...more

I just really find this creepy. I'm mean, eventhough they are not totally blood related, falling in love with your 'uncle' whom your father grow up with as a brother? that is just wrong. Its like pedophilia or something.

I'm just overwhelmed on how fast they fall in love which other. Well, I kind of understand the girl, but the guy who is supposed to be more mature, falling for no reason at all to his niece? unbelievable. This is just creepy. And with the girl having this really child-like featur

Pretty cute so far - a lot of fluffy romance with a jealousy scene thrown in. I wonder if they'll deal with the serious issues in the next two volumes.

This manga was all over the place. It wasn't confusing so much as it was just irritating to have everything being done sort of half-assed. The art and kisses were kind of cute, though, so that's why I rated it 2 stars instead of 1.

Not gonna lie, I have a thing for forbidden love/big age gap pairins. This one started cute, but some stuff didn't convince me. Probably will read the rest.

A super cute love story between a girl and her apparent at first 'uncle'. It seemed a little incest-y at first, but when I discovered that he was actually her father's adopted little brother, I seemed to have had all my issues with their relationship dissolved into thin air. The story was cute, it included typical amounts of 'kawaii'-ness into it, a cute school girl, sakura trees, a gorgeous older man as her love interest... a perfect recipe for an adorable shoujo manga!

Not going to lie the whole uncle/niece (I know their not blood related) thing kinda rubs me the wrong way. Aside from that it is pretty sweet, humorous and I am kinda a fan of Kako Mitsuki's art work.

If you like shoujo manga you may enjoy this.

This is a review for the overall series.

The plot was actually really awesome because it was new for me and I found it really enticing.
The characters were really entertaining and the setting fit together with everything.
The ending was amazing for me and I found it really logical. The ending that is. LOL It was just really smart to me. If the situation ever happened to you. :D

So, 4 stars.

The basis of the story is simple. Boy meets girl, they fall in love, etc. But then they had to complicate it. I'm a little uncomfortable with the whole 'creepy uncle' vibe this story seems to support, so I didn't enjoy it too much. Otherwise, it's a very typical shoujo piece. The art is okay, and the story is blissfully unrealistic, but it's just not my cup of tea.
