Though this falls under the category of a vintage nurse romance, it is not at all about nursing and is all about surfing. I felt like I was watching "Ride the Wild Surf!" Save this one for summer reading, and step back into the '60s for competition, sharks, sand, and Gidget-like romance. Light, but a fun way to pass the time. Be aware that there is a LOT of surfing jargon, but that wasn't a deterrent for me.
