On the outside, Ashen Black seems normal but on the inside … not so much. Problem is, an injury has left a Grand Canyon sized hole in her mind, leaving Ashen oblivious to who -or what - she is.

Enter Knox Stoke. Tall, gorgeous, and one hundred percent not interested in Ashen’s instant affection, Knox is a mystery all on his own. One that Ashen doesn’t have time to puzzle ou

This book was fantastic. It has it all; mystery, intrigue, deception, love, heartache, betrayal. R'Lee Coffey really makes you fall in love (or hate) with the characters. You can really bond with Ashen as she struggles through everything. I can't wait to read Chamma's book and see what happens to this group next.

Love this book! It has excitement, adventure, love, hate, and plenty of drama.
Here's a run down on the characters:
Ashen needs to grow a pair.
Knox - what can I really say about him, Mysterious, check. Hot, check.
Chamma comes into the picture under a bubble of mystery. Whats with the only-can-look-at-new-guys-in-town. That's ODD.
Lukus ... poor Lukus. He was my favorite but ... yeah.
Five stars definitely!

Faerie Tale, Ashen
By R'Lee Coffey

Faerie Tale, Ashen by R'Lee Coffey, a part of a surprisingly awesome series of paranormal romance books, is gifted with a remarkably great storyline. Packed full of interesting characters-each with depth and their own story to tell-and beautiful imagery at times, it's one of those books you look forward to picking up to read again and again and not put down until it's finished. Unfortunately, that's where my praise ends and the hopefully helpful critique begins.

Free book for honest review.

Ashen woke up outside with parts of her memory gone, a huge bump on the back of her head and no idea how to get home or who to trust. Knox always seems to be there and he says he wants to help, but who is he and why does Ashen have the feelings she has if he is the enemy?

And what is with all the freaky things that are happening to her? Who…or WHAT is she? And who are all these people who are acting like her friends and who expect her to

Faerie Tale: Ashen by R'Lee Coffey is exactly what the cover reveals NOT - there is so much more going for this delicious paranormal romance with every human emotion ramped up to the max. The author wraps everything in a mystery as Ashen Black knows not what she is nor why her father's legacy has left her vulnerable to an enemy unknown to her. Then she meets the tall handsome enigmatic Knox and he is as much an enigma as she is to herself. These characters and more are so richly described and ...more

This book was smashing! This book caught my attention a while ago but was just now able to read it. I am so glad that I did. This book had everything that I was hoping for. This is the first book in a series and follows the main character Ashen. She has lost her memory and must go through a treacherous time not knowing whom to trust or what she even is. Because of her memory lost readers are able to discover what is happening right along with her. This is a book that is not predictable. It is a ...more

I really, really loved Fearie Tale Ashen. The way that the story is written, which is really well. Ashen and Knox are my favorite two in this book. R'lee R Coffey has done a great job at writing this book. I'm looking to reading her next works.
