Shelves: children-s-books
This is one book in a series that introduces children to the great art masters. It shows a few pieces (around 10) from the artist and pairs it with rhyming phrases. These books were fun to read and, obviously, great to look at. They come in board book form and are on the smaller side so they are great for little hands, but even my older children loved looking through them.

One in a series of board books for kids that use the works of master painters as illustrations. We had a handful of them, and they were quite welcome when our son was bitty because they added variety and quality to the art we were looking at in books. I would use this book to talk about faces and emotions. I mainly liked this book in the series because it was Picasso and accessible to children, but the plot works unlike some of the others in the series and I like that it leans towards a child-centric top of importance: empathy.

Child friendly way to introduce children to art. What I don't like is that it almost tells the child too much... interpreting the paintings for them.
