Senior year should bring fun, friends, and happiness. Not portals, treachery, and murder.

Seventeen-year-old Mia Taylor, gatekeeper to an interdimensional portal, wants nothing more than to heal from her romance gone wrong. Illegally falling for her co-worker Regulus had been a huge mistake. But when Regulus goes rogue to hunt down a murderer, Mia must forget her broken he

This book is third in a series and takes place in a senior year setting--as well as some portals to a different dimension. Mia, one of the main characters has synesthesia, which I'm fascinated with. Only a couple of books I've found mention it, and they make it the main focus. Miss Brinda's books however are not like that. Her style of writing is great if you have a lot of time to read and finish the book in one or two sittings, but if you get distracted easily (which I did since I was pdfing ...more

Wow...Brinda nice job!! I would have to say I liked this one better than the others. Umm...first off, the dialogue in the first two books were off and felt weird. But as the series progressed, it slowly became better. I am guessing what happened was Brinda became more and more comfortable with the characters and the actions they were taking. I know how the book feels, since I have took a stab at writing myself and the result felt

I can easily say I enjoyed this book more than the other two. The writing style was more mature and it was not a quick as the ones before. While you would have to read the other two to understand this one, it was definitely worth it.
There were a few things I had problems with.
The end seemed rushed. When they were trying to escape was not always clear with what was going on. I did not believe that Arizona turned him in. It did not seem to fit with his personality. Regulus seemed too perfect. Almo

I fell in love with the characters from the first book on. I would have loved to see even more of Regulus and Arizona's world....oh! and more of Pete's world and his ENTIRE story!! Maybe another series?? :) I thought Mia was a strong central lead, the pace was great, and the tension was sky high. Wonderful series and I highly recommend jumping through your own portal and joining Mia and the gang in Whispering Woods and beyond.

I am upset that this is the end hopefully just for now(crossing my fingers). From book one I fell in love will all the characters that were introduced to throughout the series. My favorite part of all the books is the fact that i could escape reality and just be in the story, everyone who reads knows what I'm talking about here. I would and already have recommended it to all my YA reading friends, and some who are not.

Christmas should be a happy time of year, but not for seventeen-year-old Mia Taylor, a girl with strong synesthesia. She can sense portals to other dimensions and see the truth that others try to hide. In this third book of the Whispering Woods series, Mia struggles to deal with the hand that life dealt her. She knew that falling in love with Regulus, an Enforcer from another dimension, wasn’t allowed, but couldn’t help it. After a “memory cleanse”, he barely remembers their romance and she has ...more

“Working with Regulus and Arizona was like playing Pop Goes the Weasel—a surprise around every corner. And did I mention I hate surprises?”—Mia

Just when she thinks being a portal seeker and stopping unauthorized travelers from coming through couldn’t get any more complicated, Mia has to do the unthinkable: travel through the portal into another dimension to save Regulus. Neither of them have authorization. Or Arizona. Or her two best friends who follow her. Not to mention, her life has never bee

I received a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

I love how this book ended, amazing!. .but I felt it's a little bit too fast. The characters think more maturely and their adventure and conflict arising here and there kept me rooted and wanting to read the book faster until the very last page or take a look at this book's ending!

I'm surprised on the revelation at the end of this book. Unexpected. Nicely done! I love the strong friendship bond between Em and Mia, family issues

I dont think I could have been any happier with the way that this wonderful story ended. It was told like real life right before my eyes. I really liked the twist that the end had and how the journey turned out to be really intense and action packed. This story had a great plot line. Im glad that all three stories tied into one another. The author did leave the ending where their.could possible be more stories hoping that their is as Im all team Regulus..realy dreamy guy thats ...more

*I received this book to read and review. Thanks to Brinda Berry.*

The third book in the series, like the first two, immediately grasped my attention and held it, without any chance of me putting this book down for a break. The ending was phenomenal and if this is the last book in the series, I can happily say that I am satisfied with how everything turned out. Even though I will miss these characters because when reading this series, it was like I was taking a journey with them. And if this is n

Ik vond dit boek minder leuk dan de eerste 2. Ik houd wel van een goed einde. Dat gebeurde gelukkig ook. Maar ik moest wel moeite doen om het uit te lezen.

This series of books was a wonderful and easy read. I loved the story line, the characters are very real. These books were so good that I couldn't put them down until I finished them. These books are not only for young adults. I really enjoyed them all and will have to look for more of Brinda Berry's works.

I read book one awhile ago—and I didn’t read book two because I first spotted this one when I was looking to borrow a book under my Prime membership--yet I easily slipped into book three with the great writing and fast pace. Portals, intrigue, murder...there are many elements that kept me turning the pages. Mia is a girl who's wanted by others because of her special synesthesic abilities, and this leads to plenty of conflict.

Watcher of worlds

I loved everything about this book! I do feel as though the ending may have been a tad bit rushed. I still enjoyed every minute of this book. I do wish there was a epilogue. I feel like I want to know more how everyone else was tied off. Definitely would recommend!

Brinda Berry lives in the southern US with her family. Brinda is obsessed with cairn terriers, Kings of Leon, illustrated cookbooks, new technology and sandy beaches. She dreams of finding the perfect pillow--no small feat. She's also terribly fond of chocolate, coffee, and books that take her away from reality.
