Book two in the Safanarion Order was as good as the first one. It has a surprising mix of science fiction with the fantasy, which really worked.

New twists and turns are introduced here, like who the Drake is, and what is the fate of Tarimus, and which one of Aaron's companions die. There were also less typos than in the Road to Shandara.

Expect another cliffhanger at the end to draw you into the next book in the series, Amidst the Rising Shadows.

it's been a while since I wanted to read through a book this quickly. I read through it in two days. Again very well written and extremely enjoyable. I am truly enjoying on Mr. Lozito has written these books as true sequels. Where on ends the next one starts.

Highly recommended.
