Courageously recounting her children's over-the-top escapades, her husband's frustrating eccentricities, and the misfortunes of every pet they ever owned, Orvis proves "In the Mousehole" that she can write humor as well as historical fiction.
A great book that has definitely affected the way I parent. Not only was the book funny, but it was a delight to see an overwhelmed mother to transform her life to become empowered matriarch who knows how to gain respect not only for herself but also to empower her family to live life in a more meaningful way. I took notes and better prepared to deal with my own children!
