The fourth book in this series absolutely blew me away! We get introduced to an amazing new world and get to see how our beloved characters interact within it. I believe Asher has really hit his stride, and as a result I've purchased pretty much every book he's done. This series has really helped bring me back to reading. My only negative comment is that there isn't all ready another book in this series for me to jump into! I seriously can't wait to see what happens next!

If you love Kim Harrison and Jim Butcher you'll love the Vesik series. Another funny yet violent urban fantasy. Great characters.

“Old book’ may be the only phrase that can distract me from my other favorite phrase.” “The chimichanga is done?” she said with a sideways smirk. I smacked my lips. “Uh huh, and who’s the smart ass now?” 0 likes
“How can you make jokes after learning such things?” You learn to laugh, or you paint the walls with your brains. But what I said was, “It’s how we cope.” 0 likes
