Ever more beguiling, Justine, having reunited with her eternal lover Etienne, continues to explore the realm of the sensuous in the heady mix of an affluent world with more and more intriguing accomplices. Rich in prose and in sense of time and place, once again Westmont has spliced the ordinary with the magical, striking the nerve of an other-worldly desire.

An extraordinary book. Yes, a romance. Yes, full of intense passion. But there is something in the writing that gets me; a careful mixing and combining, infused with a subtle intrigue, a quiet beauty. Will read more from this author indeed.
