Twenty-five yr old Regan Andrews is an astronomy doctoral candidate on her way to stay in the very small town of Howell, Texas while she clocks time at the Addison Observatory 20 miles away. Here she rents a room from a cranky old hag and finds the hot waitress at the local diner a nice distraction. As Regan and Lily begin spending time together, things are not entirely normal in this remote little place called HOWELL... hmm, wonder what could be the problem lol.

Started off interestingly enough.

Hmmm

I normally don't get short books, but this one sounded interesting. It was short and sweet. I liked the characters and storyline.

Very quick read. Enjoyed but for such a short novel felt like the story dragged at times.

Heather McVea was raised in a small town south of San Antonio, Texas. Prior to escaping to the big city, she raised Hampshire pigs, rode motorcycles at entirely too young an age, and once snow boarded behind a Ford pickup truck. She relishes a strong gin and tonic, or a well-made old-fashioned (but never at the same time). Heather and her wife have three furbabies, and divide their time between ...more
