A fun book of paint techniques and colors. Lots of pictures and variations on the main technique, which are listed by beginner, intermediate and expert. Also a good section on paint and paint tools and how to use them.
A good overall book if you are looking to do some creative painting in your home, or you are looking for ideas to get someone else to do the painting for you!

The best book I've read yet on decorative painting. The inspiration pictures in this book are truly inspirational, and none of the finishes, or the example interiors in which they are used, are at all "cutesy" or hideously homespun looking. Elegant and sophisticated, yet sometimes whimsical, these finishes are ones I'll definitely *use*
A book of inspiration for painting home interiors. It did have some instructions, as well, but many of the techniques are considered "for professionals only". That I am not.
