I really liked the book a lot,i just could'nt put it down the suspense held me tightly with the cute romance going in between the couples

Cole-Natalie-they met cause of Emily, she was Cole's sister and Natalie's BFF cum the sister she never had and vice versa and they met sparks flew and these two loved each other and Natalie accepted her feelings and confessed it but Cole panicked and he started avoiding her, giving her mixed signals which became a fighting issue between Emily-Natalie More...

As I continue with my Barbara Freethy-athon, she once again provides a tasty novel that delivers the story with the guy who isn't right for whatever reason -- sworn again to mindless models and never love -- but the story line was good, with characters who used met in college coming together when someone writes a novel about a tragedy that took place that split them all up until now. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and the only reason it doesn't have five stars is because of the red-haired heroine and More...

I was interested when I read the summary on the back cover. But upon reading it, the storyline wasn't really that deep. There isn't any twist or something really "important" about it. The idea of the story doesn't seem too original for me and it's somewhat predictable. It reminds me of those college-murder-thriller movies. The writing style isn't too bad though. Overall I got the sense that the writer was a beginner.

When a new fiction book detailing the death of one of four college sorority sisters becomes a bestseller, Dr. Natalie Bishop finds too many coincidences to the actual death of her best friend Emily while they were in college. Then Natalie learns that the author portrays Natalie's character as the killer.

Entertaining and keeps your interest. Good romance and suspense.

It was better than I expected, mostly because I have been reading a lot of bad books lately. I wouldn't say it was awesome. I felt like the personal relationships seemed a little forced, especially between the husband and wife in this book. Nevertheless, it kept my interest throughout and I wasn't compeletely disappointed with the ending.

Fast mystery read. Several years after a tragic death at college, someone writes a book about the girl that died. They name a person who they "think" was involved, saying the death was a murder instead of an accident. The characters involved try to figure out what really happened.

a mystery...college accident turns in to a famous fictionalized story...but who wrote it and what is everyone trying to hide? Just when you were sure you knew who the author was or who pushed Emily to her death you were wrong...the killer came out of the blue but it made perfect sense. Freethy loves the red herring.

A fast moving mystery - based on a group of 4 female friends and a college event. The story begins 10 years later and involves many personalities and varying memories of said event. Lots of possibilities of the ending, but it was almost a surprise as to the "who done it?"

I was looking forward to reading a good mystery. This book started out with great promise, but quickly plumetted into a sappy romance. This book was finished only because I have a hard time stopping a book once I have read too far into it. Great disappointment.

When a long-ago college incident where a sorority sister dies becomes a fictional bestseller, the 3 remaining roommates try to help uncover the truth behind the book.

A good romantic suspense novel that entertains and brings you close to the characters.

When Natalie was a college freshman, she was a part of the "Fabulous Four" with her best friends Emily, Laura and Madison. Emily died in a terrible accident and the friends were torn apart. Years later, a novel telling a frighteningly similar story is released, and Natalie's character is pegged as Emily's killer. The friends reunite to uncover who the author of the book is, and along they way they find out what truly happened that fateful night.

It was hard for me to put this book down ... All the suspense and mystery kept my curiosity high. It was also fun guessing who's the murderer, what will happen next and whether it was really accident or not.

I really liked this book!

Not much of a deep story line, but good read about 3 friends who lost touch after the death of their best friend and reconnect when a book is written about what happened that night. They go on the search if the truth. Pretty predictable.

Well written mystery with likable characters and a rekindled romance. Easy read, kept me turning the pages, but fairly predictable with no major plot twists. Well resolved ending, all tied up in the final chapters.

This was a really well written book that drew me in from the very start. It is over 700 pages, but it flew by because the story was so good. I have another book by Freethy loaded onto my Nook and am looking forward to starting it soon.

I was excited for a good mystery when I started this book. Not even a 1/4 of the way in did it turn into a cliche romance with all the usual suspects and no real suspense or tension. I was disappointed, sorry to say.

A quick read--kept my attention. In the beginning a few things fell into place a little too easily, which made me wonder how the rest of the book would be, but I really enjoyed it!

your best friend falls or is pushed off a roof. and 10 years later it all comes out in a book written as fiction but too close to real life. a great who dunnit that's keeps you guessing and surprised at the outcome. another great book by Freethy.

Ended up skipping pages, just to get to the end. this book did not hit home with me. Not sure if it just seemed too contrived, or if I didn't feel affection for the characters, but sadly, it was a MISS for me.

Suspenseful and hard to put down. Plot is well written. It keeps you guessing as you try to solve the mystery. Love story is sweet, yet wrapped tightly into suspense of the plot.

This was a very light read, nothing deep in the storyline. Entertaining but I don't think it will leave a lasting impression on the reader.

I can say this was a quick read and a decent whodunnit, but the characters all seemed very immature. I sometimes wished I could slap Natalie and tell her to "grow up!"

It kept me guessing but in a weird way...I felt like I knew who the "enemy" was throughout the book. Turned out I was wrong though anyway. I thought it was pretty good, read better:0)

An interesting romance with some mystery involved. A little too mushy, but the whodunit part was good.
